    The Escapists is a game which fans of puzzles and crafting will enjoy a lot and one in which you can invest a huge amount of time. The game lets you go for the 'easy' escape where you can probably finish a level within about 3 hours max, while it also provides creative minds with the opportunity to plot an amazing escape.

    The graphic style suits the game well as does the sound, although    The Escapists is a game which fans of puzzles and crafting will enjoy a lot and one in which you can invest a huge amount of time. The game lets you go for the 'easy' escape where you can probably finish a level within about 3 hours max, while it also provides creative minds with the opportunity to plot an amazing escape.

    The graphic style suits the game well as does the sound, although the music can get annoying at times.

    The game's biggest flaw is the lack of story, character and A.I. acting in a too 'programmed' fashion.

    i found the game at first quite poor but once you understand how to play it there is alot of fun to be had.

    i racked up over 50hrs on this game best advice i can give anyone is to go to the escapist wiki page on crafting and take pics of each page on your smart phone so know what your capable of crafting, it's very rewarding to escape a prison,the game comes with 5 prisions each    i found the game at first quite poor but once you understand how to play it there is alot of fun to be had.

    best advice i can give anyone is to go to the escapist wiki page on crafting and take pics of each page on your smart phone so know what your capable of crafting,

    The Escapist is one the most INTENSE and AWESOME game, it's 8 - bit graphic looks very cool and it takes brain and brawn to escape all the prisons, you start of in a cell with some items. You must gather more items and craft and work out and do jobs to escape, you have more than one escape route to take, would you rather dig out of your cell or in solitary? Or you will cut the fences whileThe Escapist is one the most INTENSE and AWESOME game, it's 8 - bit graphic looks very cool and it takes brain and brawn to escape all the prisons, you start of in a cell with some items.     The Escapist is a very fun 16bit prison escape sim with a amazing soundtrack and some very interesting design features but can be a bit cruel at times but has some very rewarding outcomes. It has a very deep and useful crafting system but some of the combinations are a bit strange.     So much fun. Great design and a lot of cool ideas. Entertaining and worth the price. 8bits pays once again when it takes to old school players. Appreciated!

    The escapists has a great look to it. Took me awhile to figure anything out with crafting, but that is okay. Once you get a feel for it it is really quite fun. The maddening part is when you have planned your escape and are just waiting to execute and that other inmate you decided needed to be roughed up so you can have his gubbins ends up getting you in solitary and everything you hadThe escapists has a great look to it.     The game only came out today yet i have already escaped centre perks, this game is just so good! can get slightly frustrating when you get caught for something, but that comes with the nature of the game. Love the game apart from that.

    It’s stringent, stripped back and sometimes a chore, but when things click for The Escapists it can be a delightful challenge to overcome.

    The Escapists just doesn't make its concept work as an enjoyable game, and most gamers are simply going to find it too tedious and too frustrating to have any fun with the game.

    The Escapists oozes charm, but due to the inherent nature of the game, it has a tendency to be boring. It takes a lot of patience to make your escape, and you'll spend a lot of your time waiting. This may be a turn off for some, but for others it may make that final escape all the more satisfying.
