    First of all let me mention the original was four stars and thanks to modding it went to five. Bethesda build a foundation that influenced the generation, however this was 10 years ago and since then Skyrim has continued because of its fan base. Skyrim is one of the most replayable games of all time thanks to the incredible modding community. They have stuck around and continue to make this game great despite Bethesda's best interference at times, but after so long there's going to be a lot of mods not fixed and at the moment despite days of attempted fixes, My game is still unplayable. Seemed nothing I could do to fix it unless playing my game completely without mods, but then I attempted that and I still can't get it to work. I can start a new game but I cannot load saves with or without mods, or I get that f****** black screen glitch (That's not to mention that even if it did I wouldn't want to play it without mods). In summary the people who play this game and love this game are great but the people who made this game and are selling this re-release are not. It was a shame with the new creation content I wanted to give it a shot and play another playthrough and I had my heart set on it and like so many times before I was disappointed. I am done defending them They do not deserve your money until they decide to fix their game or until the modding community comes to your rescue and fixes it for them, and even then thanks to Bethesda's interference it will likely be sometime before this game can be played with freedom or at least for me, played at all.… Full Review »

Skyrim is still a good game, but it was a good game 5 or more years ago.. now, without any real remastering going on, it's heading towards 'too old' to be playable for any lengthy stretch. I had hoped a new edition and XS upgrade would have been a good time to up texture quality, take away some of the bugs that have been with the game since launch. But no.     I purchased the Skyrim Anniversary Edition upgrade, excited for my brother and I to be able to re-enter a refreshed Tamriel with access to newI purchased the Skyrim Anniversary Edition upgrade, excited for my brother and I to be able to re-enter a refreshed Tamriel with access to new stories and assets on our shared home XBO. However, as it turns out, the upgrade is basically a coupon for ONLY the purchasing profile to access the new content. I reached out to Bethesda support on Twitter who confirmed that each profile would have to purchase the content to unlock it. Utterly disappointed by this shameless attempt to disguise the Creation Club microtransactions.… Full Review »
