Elder Scrolls Online is awesome, it was more than I could expect. The game is fantastic and I really love all the beautiful details... the quality is way above any other MMO I've played. The personal story is intriguing and you can't stop playing.

This is one of the finest games I have ever played. It succeeds in all areas that I care about in an MMO. It is fun to play by myself and interact with other people I don't know and its also fun to play with friends you know.

    Seriously the most innovative MMO.

Any low reviews are people with out-dated computers, WoW fanboys or outright Blizzard employees.

There is NOTHING bad about this game.

Loving this game so far. You'll see Elder Scrolls Online clones in the coming years. It's brought a lot of inovative elements to the genre. Really great game.

Game is a breakthrough in MMOs. It respects my time and doesn't favor people with monster amounts of time over adults with families and jobs. Grinding is essentially eliminated and the world quests are very fun. No pressure to get to max level.

Fantastic game, closest mmo to "perfect" I've seen since wow, Plus, with no sub fee, you don't feel pressured to play to get your moneys-worth out of it, staggeringly good PvE exploration and AvAvA is fantastic.

This is the first game ever, in which I genuinely have had a great, fun time playing. I am not forced to grind or to do anything that makes the game feel like a chore. Playing with friends who've just got the game is not a burden and best of all, there's no subscription fee.

There are a lot of people throwing poor reviews at this game to be edgy, and it's pretty unfair. I've played dozens of MMOs, from launch, including WoW, Warhammer, City of Heroes/Villains, Rift, UO, EQ, Champions Online, SWTOR, Asheron's Call 1 & 2, and countless others. This game is better than the best parts of all of them.

First of all, my playstyle is hardcore and I have a lot of MMO experience.

I have been playing MMO's for almost 10 years starting with the release of Shadowbane. I have subscribed to roughly 8 different MMO's during that time-frame, BETA tested another 10 or so, and I am not afraid to admit that World of Warcraft was my previous favorite MMO. but now...Elder Scrolls Online has easily

but now...Elder Scrolls Online has easily taken the throne as my #1 favorite MMO of all time. Despite minor issues at launch which in no way affected my ability to login, level up and actually play the game, this game is nothing short of amazing. There is just so much detail and depth, all while offering players the ability to play hardcore or casual... with no monthly fee. You can login for an hour or two and walk away feeling accomplished.

This game offers much to players starved for change and innovation, while still giving the great feeling of progression and reward MMORPGs strive to give. Players are naturally encouraged to play together thanks to systems they have in place, and are all rewarded equally for things they participate in, whether that be quests or simply kills.

Experience is gained from almost doing anything, from crafting to exploring and all things in between.

I always wanted to get distracted in an MMO. To get lost in its world. In Elder Scrolls Online I am so lost and always distracted by everyday surprises. It has everything I ever wanted in a modern MMO.

This is what WoW should have been if Blizzard had the courage to do a revamp. I'll be honest, my first opinion wasn't great, just so much to take in with no idea what I was doing.

    Danke ESO!

This is an awesome game to play with friends. The sheer scope of this game will blow you away. If your an Elder Scrolls fan and you like MMORPG's then you'd be foolish not to pick this up.

This is by far the best MMO I have played, and possibly the best online game in general. This does not feel like other MMOs - it feels like an Elder Scrolls game that happens to let you play with others. The world is vast and genuinely fun to explore, the quests are engaging and tie into the main storyline, there is so much lore to dig into and grouping up with friends and guildies is easy to do. The One Tamriel update scales all players and content to the same power level, so there is no need to feel like you need to keep up with friends and you cannot outlevel zones and quests.

The environments are gorgeous and graphics are above and beyond what you would expect from an MMO. The soundtrack and sound design in general is on point and the voice acting generally very good. Combat is a fluid experience and you really feel like you're playing the game and not your skill bar. Your character is also very flexible - any class can fill any role and all skills can be morphed to your liking to attain new effects. There is something for everyone in ESO - whether you want to run hardcore endgame content and collect the best gear or you want to explore the world, experience the story content and collect flowers and trophies for your in-game house.

Verdict: If you're an Elder Scrolls fan already, ESO is going to feel very familiar. If you're an MMO fan already, ESO offers something completely new. I highly recommend the game - it's been around for a while but just keeps growing on all platforms and servers, and the hype leading up to the new Morrowind expansion in 2017 is a perfect time to get into the game. See you in Tamriel!

I maxed my character out, and essentially quit out of boredom 6 years ago. Thanks to the game being on the game pass, I have seen that they added player housing (phenomenal job with customization and being able to have what you want), as well as more systems while giving previous skill lines some love. Trials, Dungeons, and Arenas being seperated out is phenomenal. The sheer amount of content is top notch.

The only thing not making this a 10 is the heavy focus on the crown store. Its annoying that all the cool mounts are hidden behind Loot boxes that are completely over priced gambling machines, when you look past that the game is perfect for solo players who just like stories, PVP players (balancing is always a struggle but its fun being in cyrodil with a faction). and the End game is amazing. The CP system updates are top notch and the level of customization with your class filling any role is neat.

On my series X the graphics are outstanding, theirs some dumb quality of life glitches that pop up periodically but nothing that completely breaks the game. Sometimes the servers are wonky with connection but almost all MMOs are that way.

If youre looking for an MMO that you can play casually ESO is that game, theirs also a massive skill reward if you learn how to weave and do proper rotations, You can literally play this game anyway you want.

I have been playing ESO for nearly four years and have every DLC- I am in love with this game. The worldbuilding is astounding and the creativity in both zones/quests/events/cosmetics is lovely. I love playing this game both alone and with some amazing friends I met through exploring. At first, I was very skeptical, but once I was fully immersed, I was hooked.

Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has addressed many of the issues that plagued the first title. There are still some issues with clipping, connections, and voice chat, but the game is still quite enjoyable with plenty of quests to complete and areas to explore. It isn't the perfect MMO by far, but at least it's one that won't cost you $15 a month and you can come back to it whenever you feel like exploring Tamriel.

It may not be the best-looking MMORPG out there and its social tools could use some serious work, but in the end, The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited offers an intuitive and competent experience for console gamers and Skyrim fans alike.

Tamriel Unlimited is neither a great Elder Scrolls game nor an MMORPG for the ages, but it's something else entirely. An addictive if often awkward compromise with an astonishing amount of quality subscription-free content.
