The Crew has become a real jaw-dropping racing game with this update. For those who have been spending the last year playing Forza Horizon 2The Crew has become a real jaw-dropping racing game with this update. For those who have been spending the last year playing Forza Horizon 2 or DriveClub instead of the The Crew (as I have), I recommend you to jump on its new version and add it to your collection. Driving is from now on really entertaining and the behaviour of each car is well more accurate than it was. You can feel the differences more easily and above all, the thrill of speed is here. I don't have anything to add regarding content because everybody knows that the original game already offers tons of things to do. The expansion in itself adds three supplementary specs (Drift is by far to my mind the best because really funny to experiment while Dragster and Monster ones end up becoming kinda boring even so they're still interesting) and several events. The real interest of Wild Run lies in its gameplay changes and its major graphic overhaul. Yeah the latter is manifest. Maintaining the contrary would be bad faith. There has been a real work from the devs who've succeeded in making the game appear well nicer than it has ever been. The palette is briliant, sunsets are gorgeous, background tesselation is more detailed - some sceneries deploy amazing visual arguments - cities' skyscrapers are brightened up by impressive shadow-lights effects (as the whole map is), reflections have gained more realism especially with the progressive weather (puddles, bodyworks, windows), The plants look great (Sequoia's Forest) and cars also got new shaders so they look more attractive.
If you already have the original game, just leave the expansion behind (added content is enjoyable but doesn't require $29,99) and take advantage of the FREE graphic update (which also includes gameplay modifications) and steel yourself to enjoy a game that is no longer the same.… Expand
