Using the cover of night, and the fact that almost all of the adults are sleepwalking to investigate this Urban Nightmare, and bring attention to the cultist activities happening in the tunnels beneath the town. Chose your Hero tool, a taser, grappling hook, or crossbow to help you traverse the town, and keep from getting caught. Unlock perk cards and use various abilities to help each other find the evidence needed to save your friends, and your town. Close your eyes to gain perspective on situations, and too see which direction to go, or to see The Shape. The Shape is the ultimate fail, as you're noticed, and your "sins" are reported, the shape will come to get you, and he can only be "Seen" with your eyes closed. There is also a Stalker mode, that allows you to work for the Shape, and hunt groups of Teens, and report their Sins. Dark and creepy, Blackout Club is an intensely fun, Co-Op with a lot of secrets hidden in dark corners. Expand

A pretty fun co-operative horror adventure that falls flat on its key selling point. [Issue#182, p.89]

The Blackout Club introduces a fascinating and often addictive co-op stealth gameplay, even if wit a bit too much repetitiveness in its system of procedural mission objectives. Definitely a game to consider if you're willing to pass some good non-shooting time with friends online.

While it's fun at first, The Blackout Club just doesn't have enough going for it to keep players engaged for longer than a couple of hours. The game becomes a boring, repetitive slog that gets less scary and more annoying the longer it's played
