Quite a funny game. The scenario is so simple that it could be summarized in two short lines. The objectives are repetitive because there are only four of them. Throughout the game, you have only one mission: to be dropped on a map full of opponents to kill them all while completing certain objectives (defend a zone, fix a tower, collecting pieces all around the place, destroying statues).Quite a funny game. The scenario is so simple that it could be summarized in two short lines. The objectives are repetitive because there are only four of them. Throughout the game, you have only one mission: to be dropped on a map full of opponents to kill them all while completing certain objectives (defend a zone, fix a tower, collecting pieces all around the place, destroying statues). The bestiary is also very poor with a total of four or five different opponents excluding bosses. Boss fights certainly have something epicness but you'll soon reach a point where killing them is as effortless as breathing air. Once you complete the game for the first time, you unlock the game + which is essentially the same thing over and over and over again. I am actually and basically testing myself to see how far I can keep going in this. 'Tesla Force' does not even bother to propose an ending worthy of the name.

Music is repetitive. I encountered major visual and graphical issues. When foes come by waves you can suffer from major FPS drops. The gameplay is paved with minor bugs here and there. You can play different characters (including Lovecraft himself) but it doesn't change the omnipresent and unavoidable repetitiveness of it all.

10tons have managed to recreate that feeling of running out of time, surrounded on all sides, and even sometimes fares better than many games in recent memory. While Tesla Force on Xbox is lacking in variety, especially upon repeat playthroughs, what it does have to offer has continuously dragged me back in for more.
