    The RPG genre has another release in the form of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet and at times it can provide you with some very enjoyable moments. Unfortunately it does suffer with a few shortcomings and this does stop the game from being included in the higher echelons of the RPG genre. The gameplay has a number of different mechanics in play at the same time which is what you would expectThe RPG genre has another release in the form of Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet and at times it can provide you with some very enjoyable moments. Unfortunately it does suffer with a few shortcomings and this does stop the game from being included in the higher echelons of the RPG genre. The gameplay has a number of different mechanics in play at the same time which is what you would expect from an RPG, and these mechanics mostly hold up really well throughout your time with the game. My biggest problem with the gameplay though is that it is very grindy and that can make things become tedious especially when you include the amount of loading screens as well. In terms of content the game has a vast amount for you to get to grips with and you will without a doubt sink quite a few hours into the game because the amount of customisation you can do is absolutely fantastic. Something that disappointed quite a bit with this game was the combat that was present. I just felt that the combat was lacking in certain areas and it felt boring some of the time, but thankfully at least the shooting mechanics were up to snuff though. If you like a decent story that keeps you invested throughout then you will enjoy the story that’s present in Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. I found the story to be very interesting and it immersed me into the gameplay extremely well. Despite the game suffering with an array of technical issues I did find that the presentation side of the game checked a lot of boxes for me. Thankfully the technichal issues aren’t game-breaking but they do cause some frustration, but I will say that if you look past these issues then you will find that the visuals and sound design do a great job of creating an immersive experience at every turn. At the end of the day Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is kind of stuck in limbo at times because the problems it suffers with are not present in the top end RPG’s so that means there are quite a few RPG’s out there that are better than this game. Don’t get me wrong this game is far from being bad and fans of the genre will find more than enough enjoyable aspects that will satisfy them a great deal, it’s just that I don’t find this to be as interesting as some of the other game’s in the genre. That being said Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet does however do enough to warrant a recommendation from me.… Expand

    Game is very enjoyable. Story and game-play are fun and the choice of how you want to play with different weapons makes the re-playability very high

    Este juego es muy entretenido y su gameplay simple podría engañar, envicia bastante en multijugador o singleplayer cuando estas farmeando. Los problemas son los gráficos, los diálogos y la historia, gráficamente parece un juego de principio de PS3 y la historia con sus diálogos es una tortura tanta vergüenza ajena.

    Yo pensaba ignorar la historia y solo ir por la vida farmeando cosas,    Este juego es muy entretenido y su gameplay simple podría engañar, envicia bastante en multijugador o singleplayer cuando estas farmeando.     Yo pensaba ignorar la historia y solo ir por la vida farmeando cosas, aunque el juego se puede pasar perfectamente omitiendo todos los diálogos y cinemáticas, es lo mejor. Recomiendo mucho el juego por su aspecto multijugador y gameplay pero no recomiendo intentar disfrutar del modo historia.    … Expand

    Don’t expect to be wowed by Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, but if you’re prepared to stick with it and are a fan of the franchise, then there are just about enough positives to give it a look if it’s in the sale.

    Fatal Bullet isn’t going to light any charts on fire, but for those looking for a different take on the genre, it accomplishes what it sets out to do well.

    I absolutely love the source material, so while I love being able to hang out with my favorite characters, I was surprised how much I enjoyed actually playing my own character alongside them.
