    Sturmwind EX is a scrolling Shoot-'Em-Up that was originally released on the SEGA Dreamcast and has now made its way to the Xbox One. With hundreds of enemies and a dangerous environment, Sturmwind pushes player's skills to the limit. If it moves, Shoot it! And be careful, it might be able to damage you. Your adversaries and the many dangers of each stage will come at you from ANYSturmwind EX is a scrolling Shoot-'Em-Up that was originally released on the SEGA Dreamcast and has now made its way to the Xbox One. With hundreds of enemies and a dangerous environment, Sturmwind pushes player's skills to the limit. If it moves, Shoot it! And be careful, it might be able to damage you. Your adversaries and the many dangers of each stage will come at you from ANY direction! You start with three primary weapons, that can be upgraded with adjustable pickups along the way. To adjust a pickup, you shoot it and it will change color to match one of your three weapons, and that weapon must be equipped to upgrade it with the pickup. Every time you get hit you lose the current equipped weapon, and you die if you lose all 3 weapons. You can regain a weapon by gathering a pickup of the corresponding color, allowing you to take one more hit. Each weapon can gather up to two turrets as upgrades, and the disposition of the turrets can be manually changed, allowing for more coverage by that weapon. The game is intense from start to finish. The game has two modes, Story mode contains all 16 levels in order with saves at the end of each level. Arcade challenges players to 6 stages without saves. One of the better Shoot-'Em-Ups made to date Sturmwind EX is a great addition to anyone's nostalgia collection.… Expand

    Sturmwind EX is one of the best shmups available for modern consoles. It's clear that a lot of love and attention went into every detail of its gameplay and world and the result is one refined and super-satisfying arcade experience.
