You are playing for an extraterrestrial race that has just become ready to conquer outer space.
Whole story begins with the fact that you are going to destroy a comet that threatens your planet. An unforeseen event happened that dragged you into the midst of the battles. But everything may not be what it seems.

Every element in the game was made with individual approach, polished to the smallest detail.
Excellent graphics drawing, visual effects, music and sound effects - all this is perfectly harmonized in its special style and atmosphere of the game.

Guns in game are represented not only by a variety of shooting methods, they are also essential parts of your ship, changing the look of your ship throughout the campaign. In each mission you will discover new weapons, engines and other items for your ship.

Main campaign includes 80 missions, divided into different locations, in which you will meet several different opponents races and strong bosses.

Whilst this game has interesting gameplay and the ship upgrade system can be fun, it will take a while for someone to get into it. Yes the game is long, but long doesn’t always mean good. Some missions can be tough, seemingly at random, and you will need to find the right upgrade to proceed easily. It is repetitive by design and unfortunately, because there are so many missions, I found myself bored very quickly.

Stellatum on Xbox One certainly catches the eye at first, and the upgrade system adds a basic element of strategy. However, despite being playable, it runs out of ideas quickly and starts to feel like a grind, which makes it hard to recommend.

With theStellatum is a 32bit Up-Scrolling Two-Stick Space Shooter. A new asteroid has been discovered, and it's trajectory threatens Earth. With the invention of Teleportation, no corner of the galaxy is unreachable. Reminiscent of Asteroids and its many permutations, Stellatum takes it up by one more notch. Starting in a training simulation you get to feel the power that your ship can posses, and then you are given your standard ship. Your First mission is to destroy the giant rock spiraling towards the planet, with only the simplest of ships. This punches a hole in some unseen barrier, and reveals an alien threat, now you must fight for humanity's survival against this new threat. You gain blueprints as you progress along the games multi-pathed map with tons of levels, allowing you to craft parts for your ship to change and upgrade it. Faster engines, better guns, stranger hull, mix and match to your hearts content, creating the ultimate fighting vessel. Even in 32bit the graphics are smooth, and the controls precise, creating a very pleasing feel. The Stages are teeming with enemies, and each kill drops Materia, used in creating your various components. For it's price this game is a gem, waiting to give you hours of satisfying Two-Stick Dogfights in space. Stellatum is also great place to start if you've never experienced anything from this Genre!
