    I was very sceptical over this game due to the vast amounts of negative press stating that the game was itself 'in a state of decay' and was unplayable. I had the game on launch day with the standard edition and as a lover of the original formula i have to say that this game is a must have. Everything feels much smoother and more responsive, and in turn more enjoyable. Apart from that my game has run flawlessly with no bugs or crashes. It is a real shame that this game has received so much negative press. Hopefully with time the people who like the idea of the game will see through this overwhelming wall of negativity and discover a great game with addicting systems.     Great upgrade over the first State of Decay. Gameplay is addictive and fun! Very enjoyable and definitely worth buying.

    A lot of fun if you enjoy the gameplay loop. The combat is simple yet enjoyable and the community building keeps me coming back to improve the morale and safety of my community. Personally I’ve had 0 bugs so far however I acknowledge that it’s a problem for some people so be a bit weary. It’s not a game for everyone as the gameplay loop can be boring for some so I suggest playing it withA lot of fun if you enjoy the gameplay loop. The combat is simple yet enjoyable and the community building keeps me coming back to improve the morale and safety of my community.     After last nights patch, and even before it i didn't notice too many bugs, but seeing the dev team putting the work in and ensuring QA has made me really like the team behind this game.

    State of decay 2 has a lot of features to offer that many other single player / co op zombie games don't give.     Anyone who rates Resident Evil 2 higher than this game I would say ignore all their future reviews as they clearly don't know a game when they play one. Yes it has a few bugs some will have you shouting at the screen but that's only because you're enjoying it so much. If a game had bugs and was rubbish you simply wouldn't play it but this game even with it's flaws is so addictive you putAnyone who rates Resident Evil 2 higher than this game I would say ignore all their future reviews as they clearly don't know a game when they play one. Because of it's permadeath system there is no lets give that a go, nope that didn't work lets try a different way, instead you have to try and make it go perfect right off the bat or your favourite character may end up dead with no way of ever getting him/her back, once you're dead you stay dead just like if it was a real life apocalypse, decisions have to be made fast with no guidance, there is no sat nav so you need to know where you are going before you head out which may annoy anyone under 30 who can't read a map, this is no brain dead FPS your brain will be constantly active trying to think of multiple things to do at the same time which when you first start out may seem overwhelming. Sometimes ( quite alot actually ) you will have multiple missions with time limits that just aren't possible to do all of them so you have to decide who you abandon and who you save making everyones game uniquely different. Some people say there is no story ? Come on people if you woke up tomorrow in a zombie apocaylpse where is your story or would you be more worried where your next meal was coming from, I'm going to lean towards the the latter, the story is what you make it. If this game had no bugs it would be a 10. This a must buy for any intelligent humans out there but if you're a brain dead zombie then you might want to pop over to res 2 for your 5 hours of content.… Expand

    Jogo incrível, jogabilidade fácil de aprender, com mapas incríveis, peca um pouco na otimização, com alguns bugs bem raros, mas fora isso, jogo incrível, melhor sobrevivência em um mundo pós apocalíptico cheio de zumbis

    O jogo é incrível, impossível um fã de The Walking Dead não notar as inúmeras referências e inspirações, adoro jogar pra passar o tempo, expandir minha comunidade, explorar, matar hordas, dialogar com outros sobreviventes ou construir coisas pra minha base. O jogo é divertido e só peca em quesitos básicos como um multiplayer limitado e erros de colisão.

Ive owned this game since it launched and since then I may have gone 4 nights without playing it. There is so much to do in this game no matter what direction you play. In fact outside of some soupy textures here and there the game actually looks really good. IMO this game is more of a single player game. The multiplayer would be the part I take points away. I dont like how you cant run through the game with friends and have everything save together. This "helping out" crap is probably the most stupid idea I have ever seen in a game. They need to take note from games like Dying Light. I also think that now that they have been fully acquired by MS the graphics moving forward in future games will look like Dying Light games.

    I do feel Xbox games have been unfairly reviewed this entire gen. Whether it be pixels to bugs most reviewers are leaving fun factor out of their reviews and that's BS. This game is incredibly fun and addicting! Over 2 million people bought it a week after it released and every time I am in my local Walmart there aren't any copies available.

I applaud the decision of adding difficulty levels, to adjust the experience to different types of players. Howerver, 2 criticisms (for me): (i) The Juggernauts (and the Ferals too, actually) seem so artificial and their only reason to be in the game is to make things difficult sometimes... And (ii) the permadeath should be only optional. I hate to dedicate so many hours into the game for later losing all in a mistake or a trap. Some people like this, but honestly, I wish I had the time for that. I don't. For the future, it would be nice to add more regular zombies in big cities, rather than artificial zombies that are more powerful. This way you keep a challenge but you get rid of the artificiality.    … Expand

Its the ideal zombie base building game for a zombie setting. The game is essentially just State of Decay updated for modern gaming along with a number of inprovements. I don't think there is any regression from the first game. If you enjoyed that, you will almost certainly enjoy this game. There is a large patch coming (juggernaut) in a couple of weeks, and after playing I am psyched. It could bring this rating up to a 9! If you have had any curiosity about this game, I would definitely reccomend you get this. Its often on sale nowadays. I was very skeptical going into tit and I would have gladly paid twice what I did knowing how fun it is.… Expand

    While somewhat unpolished, the addition of Multiplayer Zombie slaying into a world filled with dread makes this the zombie game you'll keep coming back to.

    I really like this game. I can also see why it isn't for everyone (no survival game is). If you like base building games/sim and FPS you will probably enjoy this game.

    EDIT: They have done a good job updating the game and adding new content, including a story mode which is nice.

    I have played for probably 6-8 hours and find it fun, it has a lot of the first games style with the addition of making supplies like food, gas and cars seem much more limited. I would recommend esp at the 30 price point.

    If you played the first one, I can't imagine how you don't like this one. It's that same "repetitive" game-play that made the first game successful, but they just added so much more.
    I am playing on a decent PC and haven't had problems with the bugs everyone is emotional about.

There are bugs, the graphics are not in line with God of War, Tomb Raider, Halo or any of the other games I have heard people compare it to. Don't compare a Ferrari to a Honda Accord. The bottom line is did I have fun? Yes I did and that is what my rating is based off of.

    Please take a look at the other reviews that are giving zero for the score and observe that almost all of the zero scores are coming from people who have reviewed nothing but PS4 games. If you are on the fence and love these type of games and want to try before you buy, give Game Pass a shot, if you find its not your cup of tea then you are only out $10.    … Expand

    Es un juego entretenido ya lo probé jugando 4 en linea y no tuve ningún problema pero si tiene detalles de cámara pero nada como para ponerle 0 o 4 como algunos usuarios que parecen mas jugadores de otra empresa ponen.
    excelente si lo juegas con xbox game pass =)

    There are some glitches, nothing game breaking that I have found in nearly 80 hours. Addicting gameplay. If you liked the first this one is better in every way.

    Innovations in State of Decay 2 don´t solve any problems, but rather add some more. The game unnecessarily forces on its multiplayer and feels very impersonal. [Issue#287]

    State of Decay 2 is going to be very hit and miss for a number of people. If you can ignore the flaws, there is a fun game to be had when played with a friend. That said, even if you ignore its flaws, you can’t deny that this game was not ready for release.

    Generally State of Decay 2 looks more like a remaster of the original game than a true sequel. It just does not expand the formula enough and still contains too many repetitive activities that make you go through the motions for the sake of getting it done. That’s why I recommend playing it in short sessions. I have no doubt that people unfamiliar with the first State of Decay will enjoy the second one much more, as everything will be new to them.
