Graphics are presented in pixelated two-tone style but offer a touch of detail, customization and precision that pushes beyond the limits of its inspirations. Adjust the color palette, choose between multiple play modes, purchase upgrades and overcome unpredictably shuffled stage order with each run. The objective is simple – clear all enemies from the rooms you enter, obtain a key and proceed to the next level. But victory is far from certain as new types of enemies aim to end your run and a boss encounter awaits every five stages. Kill or be killed! Take each one down quickly and strategically to collect coins and buy power-ups to stack the deck in your favor. Expand

Make no mistake, this is a hard game - overwhelmingly so at times. It’s fair to say that Squad Killer on Xbox isn’t a game for everyone and a lot of people will be discouraged by its difficulty. But for those who decide to stick with it, they’ll find a game that is both dangerously addictive and intensely rewarding.

Squad Killer is a fun, if simple, retro platformer/shooter. The action is easy to pick up and play – and the achievements drop easily – but there are a few niggles that can frustrate a little too much. For the low price it might be worth a shot for some, but others will be best off looking elsewhere.

    The good:
Simple gameplay, quick games, small settings, minimalist graphics, kill everything that moves, avoid getting hurt and collect coins
    The good:
Simple gameplay, quick games, small settings, minimalist graphics, kill everything that moves, avoid getting hurt and collect coins to buy upgrades. Updated to make levels random and include bosses and 1000G more (add to 2000G). easy achievements.

    The bad
The randomness of the scenarios after the patch makes it difficult to obtain the achievements of advancing scenarios. The graphics are basic, no, what follows and the mechanics of hanging on the stairs feel strange

    The Meh!:
It could be worse and the publisher could leave the game in its first 1000G but after two years a patch returns that brings us bosses and boss rush option in addition to the main modality
