    Despite a few niggles you'd be hard pressed to be disappointed by this. With such a fun premise and carefully thought out design, it's more likely to sneak up and surprise you with how good it is.

    A fun and engaging puzzler, with a likeable aesthetic that will keep you amused throughout its seventy-five increasingly challenging levels. It’s a relatively short experience, but the extra challenges and online leaderboards add length to an enjoyable indie package.

    Fun & cheap, but shallow proposal. It's not an spectacular or long game, but everything this chameleon tries is well executed. One of the best ways to invest 5€ on a downloadable game.

    Outside of the two minor caveats, Spy Chameleon is easy to pick up and play and is great for the casual Xbox One gamer, or someone who has ten or fifteen minutes to kill at a time.

    Spy Chameleon is a short game that feels too long. It's one good idea not fully realized and a reptilian mascot who deserves another shot.

    Spy chameleon is a reaction based puzzle game where you play as a color changing chameleon...
    The game consists of 75 levels and takes around 2 hours to complete
    There is no real story here though you are given a story based objective in each mission..
    A mission consists of 15 levels…
    The difficulty of these levels are pretty up and down...
    The objective of the game is to get to the rooms exit... 1 room is 1 level...
    across the ground there will be carpets, paint, colored tiles…
    And you can use these colors to blend in…
    color changing is simple as it goes off of the button colors on your controller…
    Green, red, pink, and blue
    there are the only buttons you have to worry about as you sneak through the shadows trying to not get caught be the enemies running around the levels…
    There are flies to collect here as well as time challenges for trophies
    But there isn’t much to the game other than blend and don’t get caught…
    The game is pretty enjoyable minus a few extremely frustrating levels that just come out of nowhere…
    My biggest issue with the game is that it is so up and down..
    Most of the levels are extremely easy and then randomly you’ll get hit with a level and a puzzle that the game has not prepared you for up to that point…
    there are a decent amount of checkpoints though which is nice… but still… one level in particular, I felt luck got involved as you’re trying to stop these mice at just the right moment or face an insta death…
    this level almost made me stopbecasue of how frustrating and unfair it felt…
    but the rest of the game I enjoyed..
    It’s simple enough
    and you’re slowly introduced to throwing switches, grabbing keys, hiding in boxes, pushing buttons to move walls… but none of the levels ever felt overwhelming, and things never get too crazy... just the right amount of challenge throughout..
    Except that cheap lab rat level

Simple to play but hard to master, this game is great example of making you want to play just one more level before putting down your controller. In addition to just getting the ought the stage, each level has 3 additional challenges to increase difficulty and replay value. Collecting all 10 flies is usually pretty easy, but the other objectives, the much more difficult ladybugs and a time challenge, may leave you cursing in frustration until the sublime moment you figure that level out. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. There is no better value for the money on the Xbox one at this time.… Full Review »
