You play as Dave, a security guard tasked with protecting the three computer cores from the invading alien hordes. You are equipped with a blaster and a gravity suit. The suit allows you to basically swap gravity for yourself, and stick to the ceilings. You have plates on the floors and ceilings that you can place one of three turrets. You place and upgrade turrets, and make repairs using metal. You start with a given amount, and can pick up more dropped by the enemies. Things are fairly easy at the start, as the game shows you the ropes, then it escalates quickly when it has taught you what it can. This shift is where the fun actually starts. There are four rooms on the ship, three that can be attacked and one that serves as your base, where you can talk to the rest of the crew, and play a Gradius like minigame for extra metal. As the game escalates, it begins to force you to defend multiple rooms at once. The game isn't extremely long leaving you wanting more turrets, and enemies to play with. There is an infinite mode, and Challenge mode as well as tow difficulties to the campaign. Fans of classic tower defense, and platform shoot 'em ups should find this blend of the two fun, and satisfying. Expand
