    Snooker 19 is a nice surprise for the Xbox One as playing and becoming a superstar of snooker is a blast and having all the official licenses makes the journey all that better. Snooker and billiards isn’t as popular as it once was in the gaming arena. There's been many snooker and billiards games over the years but very few are licensed and yet even fewer are worth playing. ThankfullySnooker 19 is a nice surprise for the Xbox One as playing and becoming a superstar of snooker is a blast and having all the official licenses makes the journey all that better. Snooker and billiards isn’t as popular as it once was in the gaming arena. There's been many snooker and billiards games over the years but very few are licensed and yet even fewer are worth playing. Thankfully Snooker 19 is actually a solid game, although it isn't perfect. It does however get more right than it gets wrong and they’ve done well with the visuals and sound design and overall presentation. The game has a real snooker feel and combining that with the licensed players and tournaments it does give the game impact. The physics are realistic overall and winning a tournament did carry with it a very rewarding experience due to the difficulty. Unfortunately though the AI is almost overpowered at times which takes away some from the experience of the enjoyment in the gameplay. There's also a few glitches in the game from time to time so while Snooker 19 does have a few misses and it lacks in terms of gameplay modes, I still was excited to play the career mode each time I sat down; it was also quite enjoyable with friends. With that being said this is definitely the best Snooker game available for the Xbox One. So if you are a fan of the genre there's no reason to purchase it for your Xbox library and enjoy everything it has to offer.… Expand

    Snooker 19 is a must have game for all of the fans of this sport. It's realistic, is fully licensed and create absolutely amazing pictures. A great snooker game.

    There’s a really good core game here, but it’s let down by the overall presentation. If you enjoy snooker though, you can easily look past this to enjoy it for what it is.

    Sadly, the two career modes hardly feel different to each other, and the players don't develop during the season due to a lack of stats or attributes to differentiate players from each other. Playing against the AI shows that, despite the cast of 128+ characters, they are all different skins of the same athlete, with no varying strategies, which is a shame - but, there is online mode for the professionals who wish to take their snooker experience to the next level.
