    When all is said and done, Smoots Summer Games is fun, for a brief period. But, with no real atmosphere, and no online play, it’s not really going to be keeping you coming back for very long.

Play with your favorite Smoot character in practice, Special Challenge and Championship game modes. Smoots Summer Games is the perfect game to play with your friends and family and definitley reminds me of the old classic Track and Field games I remember so fondly as a child. Nothing like going for the world record with some classic Botton mashing followed by a well timed angle release. Unlike the classic Track and Field this game failed to bring me the same level of excitement, I'll admit it's still a great family or party game the controls just didn't feel tight enough or refined enough to compete with one of the all time greats of the podium. 18 athletic events is a strong line up and I feel there's plenty of fun to be had here and quite possibly is tailored toward a younger less experienced crowd. As Farr as that goes the game is spot on and hits home for children and youngsters alike. There's a lot oof fun to be had with Smoots Summer Games. So if you're looking for a great family party game look no further. If you're looking to take down your best friends javelin record in a hard core competition fest stick with Track and Field's tight and refined controls with basic presentation.… Expand
