Sleepin’ Deeply on Xbox is attempting to be funny with the main character being a drunk and the level designs being as wacky as they are, but for me it’s just not humorous; a bumbling alcoholic walking around burping and mopping up poop just doesn’t do it for me. But you may find that stuff hilarious, and if you do then Sleepin’ Deeply might be just the game for you.

In Sleepin' Deeply you are a man who drank extra strong alcohol based beverage. You are unconscious and have to wake yourself up. The game takes place in the main characters dreams. Like the former game on the series you must solve a variety of puzzles inside the drunk based dream world that ultimately result in - well I'll not spoil that here, but so you can wake up and drink more. When you beat a level it is oddly satisfying. Humorous references are fun, but not overly humorous. There is not a ton of levels in Sleepin' Deeply with expanded length but levels looks plain, unlike in the former game this one I found to be too short in that you can finish it in around three hours. The sound effects are annoying, Suicide Guy's voice is more like a monster rather than a human being, as he grunts every time he jumps and you hear a ping sound every time you pick up an item. Overall Sleepin' Deeply
is a weaker game than the original game which can plague many sequels but not all. The game is enjoyable sometimes but mostly you wait to get back to the enjoyable parts. If you played the original and looking for some more i can recommend you this game but it is not good as the original
game due to its short gameplay and kind of plain levels. The sound effects can be tolerated but overall I was a bit disappointed in the Xbox version of the game, but the price of admission is low so its a good affordable time passer or a great quick game from a gamer score achievement type gamer.
