    Sea Salt is refreshing in its gaming style. Combining action and strategy in a simple based setup works great here. The dark artistic style and music serve the evil cult theme well. It has enough difficulty to make the game a challenge and enough variation to make you consider different tactics and replay the game in a different way. Although the graphics are in an 16-bit style, there is something charming about the sprites making the game an interesting play through.

    Sea Salt is an interesting experimental idea which offers players a cool premise and game world to indulge in. While a lot of thought and care has gone into building a compelling world in order to convincingly provide players the empowerment of being a cruel omnipotent being, the actual real-time strategy gameplay is far too simplistic.

    Sea Salt is an 8bit Top-Down Horde control game. You are Dagon, a Dark God, and your Bishop has denied your demands that he sacrifice himself,Sea Salt is an 8bit Top-Down Horde control game. You are Dagon, a Dark God, and your Bishop has denied your demands that he sacrifice himself, and he flees to the depths of the city. You WILL Claim him, and all that stand in your way, as you summon the hordes of your dark will. You start with a simple swarm, and as you progress through the game, you will unlock Cards. These cards allow you to summon more creatures to your horde, and grant different abilities to your growing masses. You control by clicking on the map and sending your hordes to the target location and holding down the attack button to kill enemies and destroy barriers. As you destroy enemies, and barriers, you can collect gold, one your gold meter is full, you can summon more nightmarish creatures to your horde. Be careful of hazards to keep your minions as strong as you can, so you can simply wipe your foes from the board. It's not every day you get to play the "bad guys" but Sea Salt places you in the shoes of evil, commanding Dagons hordes. It's an interesting change of pace and I feel it greatly adds to the fun of the game. Sea Salt isn't for everyone but can provide hours of entertainment for people who enjoy commanding the forces of darkness.… Expand

    Une sorte de bouillie numérique (tout en anglais de toute façon) infâme qui sent clairement soit le foutage de gueule éhonté, soit la sous-nullité la plus totale de son "gameplay" (?) et la plus nulle à chier qu'il soit possible d'atteindre en général et en particulier (ça tient du génie de la pathétique nullissime nullité à chier par terre mais surtout dessus (si on pouvait lui chier dessus directement, cela va sans dire).    … Expand
