    Pure disappointment
    You have to pay 50 € for an unfinished game.
    There is no ingame shop and you cannot create your own server.
    The graphics are worse than the PC graphics and you have a gaming computer in the Series S. Thanks for the rip-off.

    Honestly, Rust is a game all about survival of the fittest, and this game gave me that experience, the controls are different but easy to get use to and hard to foeget, the PVP feels good especially since there is no indications where your swinging your weapon or shooting your gun/bow unless your    I got this game from a friend! DO NOT think I'm bias tho because I did buy it before on PC

    Honestly, Rust is a game all about survival of the fittest, and this game gave me that experience, the controls are different but easy to get use to and hard to foeget, the PVP feels good especially since there is no indications where your swinging your weapon or shooting your gun/bow unless your aiming down sights, when I played it was hard to get started, people will go around killing others but that's the fun of it, you have to be prepares fkr that know where you are going to go and get ready for a fight because there will be one. The only thing that I found was horrible was the connection, I would have fits of lag to the point where I crashed once, but it was so addicted to making sure my base was safe I got right back on exactly where I left off.
    But hat all is Rust, what it's supposed to be, it's not diverting from what it was on PC it's just coming to console, and a lot appreciate it, and there is no community servers atleast there isn't at the time of posting this, but it might change. So final say would be that it is over hyped but good leaving it a higher score than 8 feels like I'm lying but lower than 7 I just feel bad since I did like it so much.    … Expand

    ok so I'm seeing a few negative reviews and im not sure why the game whilst not being the greatest quality is playable you just have to get past the learning curve/start and then your fine once you have a base and a sleeping bag or 2 you just go out and farm to expand your base and learn new bp's my only problem with the game is the fact that stone nodes are such a rare thing in the freshok so I'm seeing a few negative reviews and im not sure why the game whilst not being the greatest quality is playable you just have to get past the learning curve/start and then your fine once you have a base and a sleeping bag or 2 you just go out and farm to expand your base and learn new bp's my only problem with the game is the fact that stone nodes are such a rare thing in the fresh spawn areas but once you get down a base all those issues are resolved and stone nodes seem more frequent as long as you aren't too close to spawn plus barrels have consistent and short timers for respawning and pvp whilst a bit difficult is manageable my only issue is the stone node rarity and the newbies (they cant be stopped) but other than that excellent port just a bit of a steep learning curve / start to the game its definitely worth the £40 or so on amazon if you can get your friends to buy it you can have a great time… Expand

    Don’t get the negative reviews on this game. I think it’s awesome. Lots to do. Very few lag issues. Enjoying learning to survive. Seems many having a negative impression but the stability of my games have been great. Sorry to disagree.

    Bad servers, no community servers, constant fps an game stuttering issues, every update adds a new game breaking bug, world size is way to small for 100 players on the map, crashes 50% of the time etc. Bad port that's only ever going to be defended by a over zealous fan base

    I played Rust on PC and stopped around 2014/15, before boats, which it appears the console version takes place after this point with plans for future updates. Awesome.

    I played in the early access beta and watched my roommate play the closed betafot a monyh.

    If I wasnt already charmed by this game years back, I havo if i could stomached this launch. Uts on3 of the worst ive ever seen.

    Rust console edition is a islet to the rust name . Rust in console runs worse then the original rust did back in 2013 . The map is filled with fog which would be fine if it helped preform with which it doesn’t . The game crashes and has so many issues the servers are not available either . Keep in mind you had to play extra to have access 3 days early and the Serbs don’t work .Rust console edition is a islet to the rust name .     When closed beta had less bugs than full release u know something is ain't right... And that's about 3 Month's of testing without any additional content.

    Terrible port. Game breaking issues addressed by devs trolling in discord. Early access consisted of game being so broken you cannot progress but on release day the fixes will come out. Then they decide that when that happens they will wipe all servers. What was the point of even advertising early access when they basically didn’t deliver it. I have played the pre order beta and been playing early access. Was not worth it and should’ve refunded when I had the chance. Absolutely no reason to waste money on special editions, let alone the game itself. The devs can barely keep the game running without crashes every 10 minutes or so. If you spend your money on this, you will regret it.… Expand

    Coming from pc playing a smooth version of the game I was really disappointed in the performance on console. You can expect frequent crashes and 20-30fps GamePlay

    Basically unplayable for me. Everytime I join a server it crashes at the same exact moment. The times I have gotten in the game was fun though laggy and choppy. Overall the experience is mediocre, wouldn't but unless there is drastic improvemens

    Really like rust. Shame it crashes on the loading screen half the time. And crashes when you load into a game. And voice chat crashes the game. And if you plug your Mic in it crashes the game. More like "avoid crashing simulator" or "infuriate me simulator"

It's stupid that scientist turret is way too long and the cool down when breaking items or shooting a bow out side of Outpost is ridiculous the 50 if you don't get shot or the 30 min if you do get shot by one of the scientist turrets and somebody was shooting right over my body too and I was still getting shot by the science turrets and they were not that's how unfair this f****** game is… Expand

    The game is good enough, but the drop in frames prevents you from having fun, but the developers are trying, I wish them good luck!

    This game is great solo but even better with a group of friends. I believe the server wipe concept is frustrating to some, but is pivotal to providing a reason to the replay value.

    Spoiler alert!!!! You’re gonna die because that is what makes the game fun. The constant restarting and trying to do everything better is great too!

    This game is terrible at this time and day I can't lie I have fun until barbed wire chunks 50% of my health from one poke and I was fully armored with roadsigns also and there is so much more I'm always hearing someone use blueprints when no one is there... Getting shot behind cover and I'm not talking about minable nodes, spawn crates or trees but Iv been shot and killed through wall whenThis game is terrible at this time and day I can't lie I have fun until barbed wire chunks 50% of my health from one poke and I was fully armored with roadsigns also and there is so much more I'm always hearing someone use blueprints when no one is there... But that's not the point this broken game has gotten me killed more than an enemy firearm and that is not good I feel like if I have the series x I shouldn't have to deal with things like this but it's not the system its you greddy guys wanting money from console owners and don't want to put in the actual time it needs to be able to run correct… Expand

    Rust Console Edition is an addictive multiplayer survival game that will give great satisfaction only to those who will embrace its philosophy based on cooperation and PvP fights, without which the gaming experience is likely to become too frustrating. In addition, the game is suffering from a very poor technical realization, so as to seem an early access game rather than a full one. Given these issues, it is only advisable to super-enthusiasts of the genre.

    A ruthless and brutal survival game, unfortunately not that entertaining to play. A modest porting for console with some serious inaccuracies (bugs and crashes), did not convince us.
