Let's play an RPG that's hand-drawn by a game-loving boy named Kenta, who drew it all on his notebook. Fun and exciting gimmicks and tricks appear every time you turn the page!

While the game's title contains the term "RPG," players will soon find themselves playing games other than the hand-drawn RPG on a notebook: a world made from cardboard and stationary strewn across a desk will also have players play action, adventure, side-scrolling shooters, and command battle games! The game is absolutely chock full of Kenta's playful imagination!

Taking fifteen years to conceive and 9 years to develop, "RPG Time: The Legend of Wright" is packed with its creators' ideas and entertaining flourishes.

The Legend of Wright is a unique title that really captures a moment in time. It perfectly encapsulates the nostalgia for the days of old-school RPGs and creating games during lunchtime with school friends. Kenta's game doesn't last for long and it has some frustrating moments, but The Legend of Wright is worth experiencing, as there is nothing else like it out there, and its shortcomings can easily be forgiven due to its overwhelming charm.

I don't think I've ever played a game as full of childlike imagination as RPG Time: The Legend of Wright. With oodles of brilliant situations to work out and spectacular arts and crafts visuals that really come to life, this is one lovely adventure.

The art style alone might be worth giving RPG Time: The Legend of Wright a look especially if you are a fan of adventure-style games. There were definitely some high points such as the mini-game where you catch fish using a musical piano bridge that plays the tune of London Bridge Is Falling Down as you catch the fish. Overall, however, the pace and the shallow gameplay made me wish there was a way to get some of my time back from RPG Time: The Legend of Wright.
