Rock Zombie ironically tries to revitalize a tired gaming genre from the past by throwing hordes of undead into the mix. An interesting premise and a bold palette isn’t enough to stop this gnarly brawler from being booed off stage due to lifeless animations, repetitive gameplay and overall inconsistency of the game.

The story is plain and boring, the music is the most repetitive thing I have ever listened to, the first ten minutes of this game was really bugging me, I couldn't stand the game and it's lack of game play, so I turned it off in disappointment. This game is repetitive, annoying, so just save your money for a better game. Full Review »

It does fall short in several areas though: 1. the comic strip scenes get old very quickly and you will find yourself skipping them. 2. the controls are simple but its often difficult to focus your attack on the proper zombie if there's multiple characters on screen. 3. the music is very nerve grating after 10 seconds. there really is a long list of faults here but if you judge it based on its very low budget price, turn off the sound and skip the comic scenes then you may just enjoy it--for a short while but you'll probably never play it again after the first time.
