Jan 12, 2016Fantastic game. Much better than the 2013 version. BUT it's still missing that tomb raider feeling. Lack of "figure a way out of this area to move on" is clearly missing still. Also there are no where near enough tombs. 9 is not enough an neither is 12! Hint hint. But in general the games fab. And it's even better that the multiplayer was scraped. Well done.

Feb 16, 2016The several technical limitations of the xbox one console take a toll on this game. The game itself is really well done and, despite not having an old school tomb raider feel, it's a proper successor to the 2013 reboot.
As I said, the only downside is due to the console poor performance and not the game's fault. -

Nov 6, 2019Good evolution of the graphics since the first episode. It's still a pleasure to control Lara through a new adventure, nevertheless I couldn't help thinking at some stage : "well it's like the first episode but in the snow .."
Still, I must admit the mechanics still work and it was a pleasant experience. -

CD-ActionJan 12, 2016It’s basically the same great game we’ve played before but prettier and even more enjoyable. Actually the Tomb Raider series never offered so much fun. [13/2015, p.32]

Jan 9, 2016It is an enjoyable game, but if only Crystal Dynamics could have resolved its conflicts by focusing its attention on what Tomb Raider does best and cutting out anything that got in the way of that, it could have been something far more special.

Jan 8, 2016A great experience that is let down by its voice acting and certain key junctures in the story when the developers just tell us so much that we can guess what's going to happen next. The good news is that these are few and far between and the spectacular final missions make up for everything.
