The good times keep rolling in Episode 2 with a great atmosphere, more Raid levels, and an compelling-enough narrative.

Picking up where the first chapter left off, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is looking great after a good cliffhanger ending and looks like a promising entry in the franchise.

Episode Two: Contemplation is hands down, a better, stronger, and more satisfying entry than the Revelations 2 premiere episode was.

Despite uninspiring environmental design, stakes are getting higher, enemies are tougher, and co-operative play is more essential. Now that’s more like it.

A stronger showing than the first episode. The pacing is better and more varied, the story seems to gain momentum as well. Some problems like the random item distribution stay the same, though.

Truly one of, if not, the best Resident Evil to date. The story is done incredibly well, and the multiplayer Raid Mode is addictive, which will have you endlessly stocking a locker full of guns that you've found along the way with various stats and upgrading them into the perfect killing machines for your arsenal, like turning a bolt-action sniper rifle into a chargeable burst-fire rail-gun using upgradable weapon parts at your workbench. It's great fun, and it's back to true form for the Resident Evil survival horror feel during Story Mode. Full Review »
