Jan 24, 2017Finally, Resident Evil is back! Resident Evil 7: Bioshock got this series back from the "punching boulders"-action grave it's been stuck in for so long with a new perspective, great playability and a fantastic setting. This is exactly what the series needed.

May 5, 2017An intense experience that slowly loses traction throughout its brief but satisfying story. Some beautiful design and intense encounters populate the game and a number of highlights, such as running through a Saw like puzzle, stand out. Only let down by length, and possibly enemy variety (i counted maybe 6 enemy types)

Jun 27, 2019short game but a good survival horror better than its predecessors (re 6 and re 5) is again a game at the height of the best but with failures that make it no better than the first 4 games

Jan 25, 2017Was really short, not worth 60 new, gameplay was fun, but no replayability , everything felt scripted and rushed after being in bakers house, save ur money

Mar 27, 2017After a slew of disappointing sequels, this is finally a Resi game to be excited about. Genuinely creepy and occasionally terrifying, this is exactly what i've been waiting for since Resi 4! Graphics are incredible, especially on HDR settings. Sound design and voice acting are great. Puzzles can be pretty fiendish and the story is engrossing. I loved every minute of it.

Jan 24, 2017Classic Resident Evil is back!!! This game has great atmosphere, the graphics are haunting but beautiful, and the story is top notch!!! The game also has multiple different endings so there's a good amount of replay value there too!! I'm excited to see where Capcom takes the series next!!

Jan 30, 2017I love resident evil games and this one was really good. I was a little skeptical about the whole 1st person thing but it kind of workout. The story is a lot scarier at the beginning but it kind of mild’s out throughout the game. really short though.

Mar 10, 2017A resident evil that not looks like a shooter, I prefer this kind of games if they are supposed to be scary, not only action, I really enjoy this game

Mar 19, 2017Its a very good and scary game, i love the map, the graphics and the grandma of the house... I didnt like the story, it was too short, and sometimes is repetitive.

Jan 26, 2017This game is awful. Took four hours to complete, and had the most worthless story that is unrelated to the rest of the Resident Evil universe. There's only a single type of enemy, the boss fights are completely uninspired and boring, and the characters themselves are forgettable and generic as can be. Don't waste your money.

Feb 13, 2017This game is Sucks.
Resident Evil 7 is an atrocious abomination of a once-great franchise. The game has no story or plot relevant to the rest of the Resident Evil universe. Every character is forgettable and generic and again has no connection to the entire RE story as a whole; Ethan is about as memorable as a wet paper towel. Capcom also lied about a returning character. Don't bother. -

Jan 26, 2017Don't bother with this game, especially at $60. It's short, has no replay value or other features (except paid DLC of course), and the story and characters are completely forgettable. This may as well have been a reboot because it has no connection at all to the rest of the Resident Evil universe. Waste of time.

Mar 8, 2017Even though Resident Evil 7 Biohazard ditches the third person point of view to a first person and a more intimate story, it does an amazing job of bringing back its roots which made the series so successful. The extraordinary work that was done in the different game departments such as story telling, audio, gameplay and graphics will keep me from sleeping at night and remembering it as a great experience.

Official Xbox Magazine UKFeb 21, 2017A leaner, meaner breed of Resi that, despite flaws, puts the series back on track...Resi VII has carved itself a seedy, resolutely icky place in our cold, blackened hearts. [March 2017, p.73]

Feb 11, 2017Resident Evil 7 seems to us an indispensable game if you like the adventures with action and puzzles, but with a great inconvenience: IT IS SO SCARY. Keeps you heartbroken for hours and that is everything that we wanted from this title. Stay away from the prejudices you had about this game of the Resident Evil saga, because you will love it without a doubt.
