    this game is crap, very boring, the controls are awful, also the gameplay is boring, everything in this game is crap, nothing like the first trilogy, waste of time and money.

    Seriously disappointed. This shouldn’t be in the resident evil genre. Nothing related to what makes resident evil great! You can’t change the difficulty. :( Should be called, random man with a gun pisses off a village. :) Wasted a couple of hours and money and then uninstalled it.     It's absolute crap. I was nostalgic when I got to the opening sequence, after having to download the game twice due to an update error (?) But far worse than this, the controls make the game completely unplayable. It's practically unresponsive. I had a hard time shooting the goddamned crows before I even reached the cabin in stage one, and I know this game inside out. This has to beIt's absolute crap.     THE CONTROLS ARE TERRIBLE!!! I jumped at the chance to buy this and play it. About 10 seconds into the gameplay I felt a HUGE wave of frustration as the controls are untenable. Its supposed to play like a 3rd person shooter but the screen sways so much when moving or looking that you can't get a fix on where you want to look or traverse any distance in a straight or clean manner.

Its supposed to play like a 3rd person shooter but the screen sways so much when moving or looking that you can't get a fix on where you want to look or traverse any distance in a straight or clean manner.
    Even worse is the combat. Standing still to ready yourself for shooting is fine, but when enemies are chasing you you have to run far away to give yourself the time you need to ready yourself.
    The worst part is trying to turn yourself 180 degrees, it takes a solid 3 to 5 seconds which is just enough time for an enemy to hit or kill you.
    I know everyone wants to get this game for nostalgia reasons but TRUST ME.....DO NOT SPEND THE $20 for this game. You will be upset you spent the money within 10 minutes of starting the game.
    I think it is PATHETIC that they didn't clean up the controls prior to releasing this game. Half way through the first area and I uninstalled it already. I want my money back!!!!!!!    … Expand

    Une version en 1080p de la vieille daube de Captron qui n'en finit plus de recycler ses étrons encore et encore... Si ça ressemble à un TPS, il n'en est rien, car ça ne se manie certainement pas comme un TPS mais comme un semi-remorque bourré dans le ravin : cette merde est injouable !

    Les commandes sont de toute façon mal fichues et dans tous les domaines, une sorte de foutage de gueule non-stop de Capcon avec des QTE de merde (pléonasme) en prime. Et bien sûr, on ne peut sauvegarder que si on trouve... une machine à écrire (sic !). Quelle saloperie de jeu de merde et quelle sale franchise de merde ! la honte du jeu vidéo.    … Expand

    Boo this is when I turned away from the franchise back in the old days of PS2 I hated this game beginning to end graphics look heaps better under Microsoft though that's all I'll give it I didn't like the direction or any thing in this game at all not the extra content not anything I hate resident evil from this game up to now

    Due to the original game age and a lack of substantial improvements, this is the most underwhelming of the three recent Resident Evil remasters. Suggested only to those who never played the game.

    I looked hard for something wrong with this re-release of RE4, but I found… nothing. I suppose some could fault the developers for not adding a quick weapon switch to the D-pad (going into a briefcase to switch weapons has never been ideal) and it’s disappointing to see that the FMV sequences weren’t given the same visual overhaul as the rest of the title. Beyond those small quibbles, however, the game remains as good as it’s ever been. The campaign is the best in the series, the bonus chapter offers a huge amount of new content, and the costumes change the way the game is played. This really is one of the best games ever made, and over a decade later, it hasn’t lost any of its cachet.
