    Can’t even play the goddamn online. Rockstar fix this, it’s been a couple of days and I can’t do anything as my game keeps disconnecting every one or two minutes

    Não é bom, ponto final. Precisa de uma evolução maior do que a ele propõe, além de o jogo não ter atingido tudo o que a maioria dos jogadores queria, GTA 5 continua na frente facilmente.

    Makes me sad that everyone is blinded by the hype to see that this game is just any other boring, empty open world game. its only redeeming factor is its production value and detail, but then this shouldnt be anything but the best considering the amount of resources and money rockstar has

    The first RDR wasn't a good game, and it's successor has the same flaws and problems.

    First of all open world is bland and empty. Yes, it made as a decoration for your riding from mission to mission. And yes, the game has gorgeous views, but it just so shallow that the graphics can't make it better. Empty world, lack of exploring and feeling of the artificial world. Even GTA 5 feels    The first RDR wasn't a good game, and it's successor has the same flaws and problems.

    Second, the overall Rockstar's problem: you need only a few hours to experience almost everything in the game. It has no deep progression and after a few hours you will start thinking "Why am I doing the same things over and over?".

    Third, realism doesn't matter. It's just made for nothing. You can starve and stop caring about all of your bars, and it will slightly affect your gameplay.

    Fourth, the NPC behaviour is not as good as it was promoted. It's the same fake as it was with the "new revolutionary Skyrim system". Just a shame because it's not a big difference between the last GTA.

    I can honestly say that the game has a fake promotion campaign altogether with media overhype. Yes, Rockstar is a big studio, but it shouldn't be the primary reason to give the game such high ratings    … Expand

    A movie is more real than this game without sluggish and clunky interactions. I doubt there is any movie fan boy loving to see an actor repeatedly opening drawers thousands of times or walking 10 mins just to talk with somebody, but you have to do these stupid things on your own in this game! What's wrong with RockStar?

    Cannot ride a buffalo and pick up a lady of the night. ZzZzZz....huh...o, just riding to the next town while typing this......Could've at least made it more fun, like The Wild Hunt or something...ZzZzZz....almost to town....almost....ZzZzZz...

    - The game is full of chores. Each of course involves a bunch of Slow-Time-Events (STEs)
    - What are these running controls
    - I can't enjoy scenery while riding my horse because my thumb is stuck on the A button rather than the camera.
    - Horse is slow, along with everything else
    - Combat is clunky, making all the slowness leading up to it not worth it

They even force you to play a 1 hour "tutorial" for red dead online. If I could return this piece of **** I would. How has Rockstar not updated their game mechanics in 16 years? **** awful game.     HORRIBLE controls, slow fps when gun fights start and now all the weapons that used to be accurate are ALL junk. it takes several shots to kill players with headshots from a not too far distant. you have to be at a rocks throw distance to kill players with a one head shot. when you are rifles distance away it now takes several shots. the ai's are stupid as hell, when you try to defend yourHORRIBLE controls, slow fps when gun fights start and now all the weapons that used to be accurate are ALL junk. it takes several shots to kill players with headshots from a not too far distant. you have to be at a rocks throw distance to kill players with a one head shot. when you are rifles distance away it now takes several shots. the ai's are stupid as hell, when you try to defend your self in the towns you end up becoming a criminal and when you try to clear out the gang hideouts sometimes you become the criminal if an AI escapes and tells the sherrif. the horses movements are extremly clumsy and when you call them they never come to you, you have to run half the map to reach your horse. this game is fastly moving towards a GTA wannabe, next thing they will add is flying carriges and overly explosives weapons. which they already did by adding the explosive bow and arrow. what a stupid thing to add especially when playing in a pvp match or a free for all map where spaces are limited or tight someone uses an explosive arrow and its not even a fun fight. its just stupid. the people making these games are obviously just implimenting the same crap that was added to the GTA series. What a waste of money. for some nice things, the games graphics are nice to see when you arent in a gun fight and the animals in the game act very cool. the rest of the game sucks… Expand

    It's realistic but to a fault. The game is just beyond boring. You're literally going to spend half your playtime riding around on a horse. The world looks nice, but when you're forced to admire it for 50 hours in order to get through the game, that's unacceptable. Combine that with the ridiculous online microtransactions, and this is one of the worst games I've ever played. Avoid!

    With it's horrible controls & slow gameplay it feels like you're playing through mud. The missions are all on rails & the story is just there to frustrate the player. This was a completely awful experience from start to the very finish, or at least until the middle of chapter 6 which is all I could stomach of this. Every plot point is off kilter, every story is at odds with the "player 1 is a hero" ideal. If you try to do the evil play through you will find it equally jarring as there are forced points of "being the hero" moments.

    I'm giving it a 2 instead of a 0 simply because the graphics are very pretty at times however there are plenty of glitch moments that highlight how little work went into polishing this horse turd. If you've managed to avoid it so far, keep going. I was unable to complete the last chapter as it was so annoying to play.

    If I ran Rockstar I would, genuinely not just trying to start an argument or annoy people, review the work put in by all the people who made this & ask them some serious questions about their future at the company. I feel like this game was designed to destroy Rockstar's reputation & annoy their audience. Honestly I'm very disappointed & saddened by how this game turned out. I would also analyse the so called "professional critics" reviews & ask many of them if they actually played the game as giving this game more than 70% raises a lot of questions about how they rate games.    … Expand

    Despues del Zelda BOTW, el juego mas overrateado de la historia.
    Aburrido, lento, personajes con comportamientos subnormales, historia estupida, cuotas feministas y todo lo peor que puedas imaginar en cuanto gameplay.
    Paisajes inutilmente bonitos es lo unico destacable, porque hasta la musica es mala.

The story mode is mediocre with online being unplayable. online is P2W, so people who just spend money in the game want to make everyone else feel like they wasted their money too.     The game looks like absolute garbage on the series s, it's lower than 720p, the Series s is completely capable of Running at 4K 60fps Rockstar keeps getting more and more incompetent by the day.

    looten ist extrem angsträngend. Warum wird das mitnehmen von einzelnen Waren begrenz ? Den Whisky kannst du nicht mehr tragen aber 3 Flaschen Rum schon.
    Was für komische Statusanzeigen habt ihr euch da denn einfallen lassen.. Kerne und Ringe, ganz toll.

    Ich laufe in den ersten Spielminuten durch eine Stadt, werde von sonnem Typen angequatsch, der haut mir eine rein - 15 Sekunden später hab ich ein 90 Dollar Kopfgeld, 90 Dollar... soviel habe ich im ganzen Spiel noch nicht gesehen... 90 Dollar. :D haha

    Zu oft, nervt und frustriert das Spiel einfach nur.. habe es in 4 Spielstunden bestimmt schon 10x ausgemacht, weil ich keine Lust mehr hatte.. oder Angst das der Controller im TV landet.

    Die Grafik ist sehr Hübsch... aber das wars... Online hat kein Inhalt, die Story is ne Katastrophe.    … Expand

The updates are few and far between over the past 2 years compared to Grand Theft Auto Online, Red Dead doesn't get the light of day, but Grand Theft Auto is the golden child.     I must say, to put this game above let's say Witcher 3 or last Dragon Age is beyond me.

    Sure the game looks great, but the story is boring and linear as hell, the controls clunky, it is one of the least open "open world games" I played.

    Very dissapointed, the game still deserves 5/10 but I have it 0 because it definitely doesn't deserve 9.7

    It doesn’t matter if you are gamer, a human being, or an alien from another planet; Red Dead Redemption 2 is a title that you just can’t miss. The bar set by RDR2 is so high that even Rockstar itself will probably have a hard time raising it. One of the best releases in the history of digital entertainment.

    While it has some notable but minor flaws, it's hard to argue that Red Dead Redemption 2 is not a masterpiece. The end result of the meticulous detail, wonderful writing and stunning looks is an open world that sets a new bar for believability, and a time and place I can't stop thinking about or wanting to be a part of.
