    Rage 2 reminds me of a cross between the Avalanche Studios released Mad Max based on the films, which become a great game thanks in part to the gorgeous wasteland icreated for it with s splash of the borderlands series thrown in for good measure. I was expecting similarities in Mad Max because Rage is similarly inspired by Mad Max and created by the the same developer as Mad Max was.Rage 2 reminds me of a cross between the Avalanche Studios released Mad Max based on the films, which become a great game thanks in part to the gorgeous wasteland icreated for it with s splash of the borderlands series thrown in for good measure. I was expecting similarities in Mad Max because Rage is similarly inspired by Mad Max and created by the the same developer as Mad Max was. However Rage 2's world feels a little empty to me. There are a few gorgeous locations, and some nice differences in what’s there to traverse, but lacks somewhere in the quality I was expecting. I do like that it's a smaller, more detailed map rather than a giant, mostly empty space. The gunplay unfolds nice and chunky and weapons and diversity in the use of the skill trees available in the game are quite nice. Rage 2 will likely fill the hunger of any fan of the now franchise of Rage, but those like me who didn’t experience the 1st game or wasn’t a huge fan of the 1st game may still feel like they expected more overall. Don’t get me wrong Rage 2 get’s much more right than it get’s wrong but it didn’t live up to the ”hype” I was anticipating from what at many times is a beautiful smooth experience. In the end it get’s much more right than wrong and a despite my little complaints it’s a worthy addition to the Xbox One library. There’s so much to explore and no two play-throughs would unfold the same, so there is definitely something here for shooter fans of any sort.… Expand

    Rage 2 is a fun game until you are able to solidly upgrade you skills and powers and weapons, at which point it becomes a GREAT game. The lighting is amazing, the gamplay is a blast, there are some great physics in play if you pay attention, and the 60 fps on Xbox One X is rock solid.

    This is a great game.

    I feel compelled to review this, because it deserves more love. I'm 30 hours in. There was one day where it crashed a few times, but it's been all in all OK.

    REALLY GOOD open world shooter. Combines elements of many super-solid games. Red Faction Guerrilla Far Cry 3,4,5,ND a pinch of Half Life 2 Mad Max Doom Borderlands I've had nothing but fun. Good shooting feel, and as    I feel compelled to review this, because it deserves more love. I'm 30 hours in. There was one day where it crashed a few times, but it's been all in all OK.

    I've had nothing but fun. Good shooting feel, and as you progress, it works to Doom it and run around in bases and just keep moving while you wipe everybody out. Driving is fantastic (in the main car), and always fun. I want to power slide like this in real life. All of the open world locations are enjoyable (except for mutant bases), and I am only now starting to be ready to wrap the game up. I have done a LOT.

    Good movement and jumping, good power abilities (that you can use or not). Honestly, not much in the way of negatives for me. I skip the movie crap and just play, man. Great game. Probably an 8.5 for me. Tons to do. Great, huge open world, and good environment variations.

    I initially thought this game was a 9, but after beating it, it's a 6. Main missions only add up to 7 hrs gameplay and the last 2 missions are boring. The side missions are all the same. The game runs well, but is poorly designed. A real shame.

    The Score is really a 7.5, but the the 10 is to fight with de angry crying reviewers.
    The Game has a fantastic gun play, a lot of areas to have fun making things explode an send people to the air.
    It lacks of narrative and story, and its a repetitive after 10 or 12 hours. But i can assure you, you will have fun, a lot of fun.

    After 8 hours I must say that it isn’t as bad as they say. The action is superb and if you go the side mission track that I do there is much kill..

    I rate it 7 but give it 10 to upset the trolls..

I'm halfway through Rage 2, the game is fun as hell, whoever said the game is boring has not played this game. The graphics are beautiful, I enjoy the colors, the only bad point is there is no HDR, but the game still looks great and plays smooth.     I gave Rage 2 a try via a 3-day Redbox rental. The long and short of it is simply what others have said: The combat is fantastic, but the rest of the game is mediocre. The abilities, gunplay, and melee are top notch and reminiscent of Doom 2016 but it all becomes mired down in the typical, repetitive, Avalanche Studios open world design with non-existent story telling. After about 10 hoursI gave Rage 2 a try via a 3-day Redbox rental. The long and short of it is simply what others have said: The combat is fantastic, but the rest of the game is mediocre. The abilities, gunplay, and melee are top notch and reminiscent of Doom 2016 but it all becomes mired down in the typical, repetitive, Avalanche Studios open world design with non-existent story telling. After about 10 hours game time, the novelty of the combat wore off and playing it felt more like a chore rather than a fun experience.

    The premise is pretty simple: Big Bad shows up after being thought dead, wipes out all of the only real law enforcement of the wasteland -- the Rangers, whose Ark ancestry gives them access to nanotrite super combat powers. All except for you, of course. In the typical "chosen one" trope, you must then embark on a mission to gather three allies by clearing out all the pink, green, and yellow map icons to unlock your skills while helping your would be allies with their menial needs in order to take on the Big Bad. Don't expect deep story telling here; I'd argue that the original Borderlands had better story telling, and people complained about the story being too shallow in THAT game.

    Also don't expect the game to be long. Playing on hard difficulty level, I finished nearly everything the game had to offer -- sans a couple of the more ridiculous achievements like 128 vehicle kills, 1337 Goon Kills, and ramming motorcycle riders off the road -- in approximately 21 hours total game time. All world locations found and completed (map icons all gray), main story finished, all weapon, nanotrite, projects, and Phoenix upgrades unlocked. There's no New Game+ to restart with everything you've already unlocked and camps/events don't respawn after a set time (only bounties and convoys do), so there's no reason to bother playing further. Avalanche is adding community challenges but, thus far, the rewards have only been weapon skins. Avalanche promises to add a new world boss and two new vehicles for free roughly a month after release which is nice, I suppose, but with the game utterly complete and nothing more to do, who cares about adding two new vehicles? Oh boy, a pilotable mech... that I will have no use for once I unlock it! The world boss, which looks to be an underground worm thing, will be about 10 minutes of content.

    Other quibbles: Driving is awful. The Phoenix handles like someone forgot to outfit it with power steering and if it wasn't for its snap auto-aiming, fighting convoys would be a complete nightmare. I don't even want to talk about how badly the motorcycles handle. Once I unlocked access to the Icarus (a gyrocopter), I rarely used anything else -- and it made transportation and uncovering map locations significantly easier. The game, at least on XBO, suffers occasional input lag while playing and atrocious lag in the menus -- especially on the "Log" and "Inventory" tabs. Sub-1080p resolution on the Xbox One S with inconsistent frame rates that drop severely in areas like The Wilds, Sekreto Wetlands, and Dune Sea where there's either a lot of mist and foliage or open space with longer draw distances. But hey, it's not ALL bad: If you're an old fart like me, the "He's on Fire" voice pack with NBA Jam/Mutant Football League's Tim Kitzrow can always bring a smile to your face -- though even THAT has issues, as he nags you constantly if you have Overdrive, whether or not you're not in combat ("YOU HAVE OVERDRIVE! USE IT!").

    I don't regret the rental but I couldn't recommend it as a purchase in its current state. Maybe after the first DLC drops in August it would be worth it but even then I'd recommend waiting until after their second planned DLC comes out in November/December and they release a complete edition.    … Expand

I'm satisfied with the shooting but I do wonder why they bothered to include the open world parts when there is little incentive to explore.     Here’s the thing Rage 2 is a lot better than what people are making it out to be. It’s not Doom it’s not Mad Max it’s Rage 2. Yes, it is true the story is a bit shallow and so is the open world but that doesn’t constitute a bad game because it’s not. I’ve seen scores on this game as low as 3/10 which is ridiculous because this is a good game.     Played on Xbox One X. I really hoped this looked like the game in the previews, it's not. It looks worse than Generation Zero. The graphics in the world are often missing HD textures, woeful pop in, bad draw distance errors. Missmatched lighting, weird shadows. The ID software Fire and Doomesque Baddies look out of place, (but good) The cars are lifted from Avalanches Mad Max. The voice acting is good, but completely forgetable and cliched. The gun models are nice, looks like Doom. Overall the game "looks like a 360 game", more than any other accused of this so far (looking at you Crackdown 3). I enjoyed Mad Max, Just Cause 3, the first 10 hours of Gen Zero.... but Rage 2 is a weird one. This looks like the basics of this game were crafted as a sequel for Rage in 2011 for last gen.... or.. it's some other game changed to be Rage 2 later, was this Mad Max 2 in development? It's fun, I don't know if i'll finish it or refund it, and, WTF it looks nothing like the previews.    … Expand

    So far Rage 2 has been a mixed bag for me. Im enjoying most aspects of the game, the story is predictable and meh but it takes a back seat to the game play, and when it works it works well. When im able to chain kills and keep overdrive flowing, or mowing down a convoy in a vehicle it feels amazing, easily a 7 or 8 rating if everything worked all the time. Sadly im playing on Xbox One SSo far Rage 2 has been a mixed bag for me. It can be hard to chain things together when everything from the direction i want to walk to the moment i need to jump or fire a round is on a quarter to half second delay depending on how busy the screen is.     controllers, and changing my TV settings and nothing got rid of it. I have no problems with input lag in any other game. The lag severely drags down my enjoyment to the point i don't want to play it until its fixed.    … Expand

    The open world is fun to explore, I found a lot to do in the world and I enjoyed the general exploration because everything is seamlessly done (no loading screens). It has that Far Cry taste regarding to enemy camps and base locations.

    Gameplay is super fun for a shooter. Best to describe Rage 2 is that it is a blend of Bulletstorm, Doom & Mad Max (maybe a bit of Borderlands as well) but it does have its own unique style. If you like any of the above mentioned games, then you'll probably enjoy Rage 2 as well.

    The story is okay, nothing new or reinventing in terms of storytelling. It is the basic shoot-kick-reload formula with a bit of story, Rage 2 is mostly about gameplay and I'm okay with that. All though the little background datapads offers interesting stories and I do like Rage's universe and it sets itself apart from all the other post-apocalyptic games/movies.

    As for the minuses for me...

    Disappointed that the game doesn't have HDR for a world that is so vibrant in colours. I do understand that it doesn't have 4k or 1440p for the 60fps sacrifice for the One X. I hope they will release a update in the future for HDR, that will make the game a solid 8 for me. Not sure if PC version has HDR, but I'll most likely replay Rage 2 on my PC as well just for that 1440p unlocked fps experience.

    Another downside is that it feels like the game was made to please SJW's, even though the game is bloody gorey but the game does have a lot of female characters and most males are sexualised where the women aren't. Double standards much hey? Now I don't agree with sexualizing women in any format, but why did they even bother bringing sexual terms and characters if they didn't want to go all the way? Either or, Rage 2 has a lot of gender issues and I dislike it when modern politics play a part in my videogames. Just bring a option "SJW Friendly" in the game settings to please that 1% of our population.

    In general, Rage 2 is a game that I'll probably finish a couple of times and again in the future. There isn't anything like Rage 2 and I'm glad that it exists.    … Expand

    A 30fps shooter in 2019 what a joke. Rage on ps3/x360 was 60fps and a technical marvel. This is a slideshow.

    The games is not bad. It looks ok but on xb1 X the textures should be better. The pink colourisation is certainly off putting but you get use to it. The sound is excellent and the gun feels great.

    The game on hard mode is not a real challenge. The driving is average and just serves to get you from A to B.     The driving is average and just serves to get you from A to B. I don't really do the driving mission because compared to the gun fighting, it is distinctly below par. Where Rage does succeed, and very well, is in the gun play department. The gun fights are excellent and can be very tense, however, ramp up that hardness if you want a challenge.

    The UI is surprisingly clunky, and overly complicated. It lacks smoothness and is just barely functional.
    The game is open world so you are free to chose your mission in the order you wish, which is great. however, most the mission are samey.

    Whilst I appreciate the standards of gaming is high, this isn't a bad game, were just spoilt for great games at the moment. Whilst elements of the game are excellent, the overall package is not perfect in my opinion. But if you want carnage this game is as good as any in that department.    … Expand

The world is large as well so there will be plenty to explore, just don't expect a densely packed map, as most things are mapped out and easily completed within a short span of time.

    That's another thing to mention, the mission layout in this game is...interesting? You basically are set out to find 3 peeps who in turn need your help clearing out set objectives on the map (Person A needs bandit dens cleansed out while B and C need blank and blank). It works to keep you busy, but there really isn't a ton of depth to the things you are doing. Once you do enough grinding for said person, you are treated to 1 or 2 Main Missions that are still easily completed within 30 or so minutes. It's a loose structure that could have really worked if the grinding on the map was a little more interesting.

    The biggest draw here though is the game play and leveling trees, which if you're into that sort of thing you will no doubt have a blast here as there is plenty to play with. If you are someone like me though that wants a little more out of your open world game (as there as so many now days) and perhaps a little more semblance of a story then you will probably come away a bit disappointed in what could have been...    … Expand

    What a disappointment!... It seems that Avalanche can even drag a studio like ID down. Blurry graphics even on Xbox One X make the game seem like it was developed for XBox 360. Unfortunately, the content cannot compensate for such technical flaws... :-(

I am adamant that 0-bombing games for other reasons than the quality of the game itself should be halted. The only way I can contribute to that is by doing the same thing but at the other side of the scale. metacritic's score system is dumb as well. Many, many gamesA 10 to counter the 0-bombs.     -Make a written review mandatory for scores from 9 and up and certainly from 3 and down!

Большой скучный мир, однообразные задания, скучный сюжет, скучные персонажи, NPC тупее биты, черезчур раздутая ветвь прокачки всего что можно было придумать качать, обсалютно отсутствует атмосфера постапокалипсиса. Шутерная механика на любителя, чисто пострелять по тупым ботам.

    Is the game perfect? Nope, not in the least. The vehicle controls can be a bit rough (here’s hoping there’s a patch coming to fix it), the open world can feel a bit empty (but then again not being bombarded every minute with some random encounter ala Red Dead Redemption 2 is nice), the story is meh much like the first game (but hey, DOOM 2016’s story was in the background and the DOOM Guy/DOOM Slayer only had one personality type, so if you can roll with that you can easily roll with this), and changing menus and moving the cursor on the map are a bit on the slow side (again like with vehicle controls hopefully this will be fixed with a patch).

    What does work? The gunplay, weapons, and abilities are f*cking excellent as everyone (save those idiot 0-bombers) agrees on! Leveling up/upgrades definitely help one feel like they are progressing from some Post-Post Apocalypse Scab to a literal Wasteland Superhero/God! And the variety of locals, biomes, and set pieces definitely make it look better than a majority of the post apocalypse games what with their various shades of drab browns and even more drab grays.

    So all in all a fun game that I guarantee you’ll be coming back to over and over again much like the Mad Max game (which too was crapped on by professional reviewers and the oddball 0-bomber).    … Expand

    What? Who the beep would think this game WOULDN'T have, at the least, a co-op multiplayer? All of this hype and there's NO CO-OP, NO COMPETITIVE PVP, NO MULTIPLAYER WHATSOEVER, and the game is OVER in about 10 hours? No way in beep. What a total disappointment.

    Rage 2 ne fait pas dans la dentelle, il fait, que dis-je, il excelle dans la destruction et le déluge de feu pour nettoyer, décrasser en profondeur toute la vermine du "wasteland"... avec un second degré très bienvenu et toute une ambiance survoltée, exagérée et souvent drolatique ! l'excellente VF permet d'apprécier ce côté "série B" qui ne se pose pas de questions mais va droit au but. Avec le lance-roquettes. Surtout que le héros -ou l'héroïne- parle, contrairement aux Far Cry !

    Les phases en véhicules sont très réussies également et le "phénix", notre carrosse personnel dont on peut améliorer les capacités -aussi- est doté d'une... forte personnalité... D'autres véhicules plus ou moins brutaux et offensifs sont également débloquables tandis qu'on se balade et qu'on fait le ménage... Une mention spéciale pour les "convois" -optionnels- qu'on prend plaisir à dézinguer de façon très mad & furious, d'ailleurs.

    Si le jeu a quelques défauts, ce sera un peu sa répétition et sa campagne un peu courte finalement... ainsi que sa musique plutôt ratée, ses menus perfectibles et quelques bugs mais rien de bien méchant. Nul besoin de farmer quoi que ce soit en tout cas, il suffit de parcourir la carte et jouer normalement comme dans tout monde ouvert bien équilibré qui se respecte, et ça c'est très appréciable. On sent son personnage évoluer et devenir la terreur enragée (ah l'overdrive !) dans ce monde de tarés, et ça aussi, c'est très appréciable.

    Sur la X, on a droit à du 60 im/s qui tient très bien la route même si c'est seulement du 1080 ; de rares textures sont étonnamment vilaines mais le jeu se signale par son bon goût de post-apocalypse (à part les fumigènes roses...) bien délabrée et déjantée. Les effets sonores sont impeccables et participent à cette furie des combats.

    Excellente surprise donc que ce Rage 2 : drôle, furieux, très amusant... un Doom open-bar à ciel ouvert et libre comme l'air. Basique mais réjouissant, exacerbé mais ironique. Simplet mais généreux : du pur gros jeu vidéo en somme.    … Expand

Graphics are not great but not bad either. Best weapon in game assault rifle, when do you get it ? right at the start so there is little point gathering other weapons or upgrading them. Vehicles, promo says if you can see it you can drive it, I've seen plenty of boats cant drive any so far, you start with the phoenix arguably the best land vehicle in game so really no point gathering others. Yes it's open world but as with nearly all open world games it just makes things easier and a bit of a drudge from one action spot to the next, searching for that last storage chest just so location shows as complete on map can be very frustrating where sometimes you think it's a lie and not there at all ( just a waste of your time ) This can be aided by spending a lot of perks in search & recover but unless you're going for 100% completion a bit pointless. This game is far from perfect and seems a bit rushed probably down to Bethesda forcing ID and Avalanche to release it to compensate them losing money on fallout 76 and whatever other garbage that company makes. If you go for the main questline right from the start you will miss much of the content and end up with a really short game. Sounds like I'm slating it but as FPS it's great fun but everything else around it is poor. The characters you meet are quickly forgettable to the point you will skip every conversation due to it just being painful to listen too.
    Anyway if you want a FPS then you will have a great time here, but if you're looking for a great open world game then this is not it, maybe replay a GTA game or Red Dead 2 as these are the definition of a great openworld game.    … Expand

This game loses a point for its weak story and empty open world however I didn't buy this game for its story. I bought this game for its style and unique combat

One minute I have sound and another, I can't hear the people talking to me. Not sure what is happening, but other then that, I love it. I'm also glad it has NO multi-player features. It's fun, shooty, action that's good for few hours and then you forget about it.    Rage 2 is a solid first-person shooter, so if that's what you're all about and don't care about much else, then this is the game for you.

    I absolutely love the DOOM-style fast paced, double jumping, punchy, over-the-top combat with power ups (I really love using "Shatter" to knock-back enemies). It's fun, shooty, action that's good for few hours and then you forget about it.

    Unfortunately, everything else in between the fun, shooty, action bits is really hollow and mundane. The main quest line is about 8-10 hours long and is heavily padded out with side objects such as "clear out this bandit camp", "clear out this mutant nest." etc.

    There's not much in the way of character arcs or development. You play as Ranger Walker and your job is to defeat The Authority from the first game and murder anyone who gets in your way. I came across NPCs with hilarious names and that's about all I ever got to know about them.

    The plot is very cookie cutter and the final boss fight is a joke, while also being incredibly cooke cutter.

    The driving mechanics are atrocious, specifically the way bikes handle in this game. Driving mechanics were also an issue in the first Rage.

    They've since patched in some updates, such as making the open world feel less empty (I ran into a little mini-boss fight at one point during my second play through) as well as some other quality of life changes (a radar to help you track down storage containers, feltrite and data pads, for example).

    Overall, I think I can recommend Rage 2 for it's combat alone, but do try and pick it up on sale since i don't believe it's a game worth it's "triple-A" price tag.    … Expand

    The story follows a trainee Ranger that is on a revenge rampage after his mentor is killed by a big half-robot monster. He has to buildup a relationship with various towns across the wasteland in order to assemble the parts for a bit of murdery vengeance.

    The main campaign wound up being a little bland, with none of the irreverence and humor that the trailers seemed to indicate. Not quite on the level with Borderlands or Saints Row, which seems like it would have really fit well with the everything else in the game.

    I really liked the various locations to explore through the story and beyond. It's really neat to be gunning down the different and unique bandit clans in a decrepit missile silo one minute and dealing with the spaceship-like labs of the Authority a few hours later. I'm usually a sucker for dystopian locations anyway, and it's done very well here.

    There are also various powers that you acquire through the game that were way more fun than I anticipated. Each power is mapped very intelligently in the controls so that you wind up using them as often as possible, as well as searching for upgrades to all of the favorites. Seeing how many enemies you can destroy with one shot was always fun.

    Even though the weapons were pretty standard, the shooting was perfectly done and every weapon was pretty fun to use. I did find myself sticking mostly to the Shotgun because of how fast the combat is, but it fits in to this type of game very well.

    As far as music and graphics go, both were exceptional. The voice acting was serviceable, with the exception of the main character who was irritatingly generic.

    The only negative that I found was the driving, the tank that is your main transportation controls a little stiffly. And the terrain is not really set up in a way that makes getting from one place to another very smooth. After completely upgrading the tank, I still had a bear of a time with any vehicle combat (convoys, etc.) because it was very difficult to stay on the road. Nobody feels cool accidentally driving off a cliff.

    After playing the main game on Game Pass, I decided to buy the game immediately (along with the DLC). Rise of the Ghosts is pretty good, having a whole new area to explore and a story line that held my interest, but the Halloween DLC was very disappointing. It was basically a set of challenge rooms that go way too long with very little story of any kind.    … Expand

    Finally playing this on Series X and I'm pleasantly surprised given the reviews on launch.

    Story and open world are just fine, but this one of the best feeling fps shooters I've ever played on console.

    My main complaints would be no minimap for small areas and travel. Both of these issues are overcome by unlocks. The gameplay itself is a whole lot of fun if a little short. It's also currently cheap as chips so definitely worth giving a shot.

    So many games nowadays are catered to people who play games 3+ hours a day. Too much to do, overwhelming bs, when I jsut want to come home from work and have some fun for 30 min to an hour. Open world but not overwhelming, combat is amazing, story is light. Very happy with this game.

    Игра является попыткой тупо заработать денег с имеющегося бренда «Rage», лежащего в долгом ящике беспонтовости, что неудивительно, ибо так всрать сетевой фоллыч надо было постараться, а Скайрим уже выпустили на всё, окромя тостера и он перестал приносить деньги.
    Это бездарный гибрид Doom и Mad Max, только с более слабой реализацией основных элементов коктейля.
    В Дум была феерически крутая боевая система под забойный саундтрек и хорошая графика с плавными, отточенными до совершенства анимациями, компенсирующие банальный сюжет и линейность уровней. Шутан хватал игрока мёртвой хваткой, давая челлендж на уровне сложности выше среднего, не отпуская до самого конца. Им хотелось обмазываться, повышая тот самый уровень сложности! Какая же была радость, когда в бесплатном обновлении завезли аркадный режим с вырезанием всего, кроме боя, а тут вроде почти тоже самое, но я себя под конец уже практически заставлял играть, устав от бесполезности происходящего и постоянных багов.
    В Максе смогли предоставить проработанную пустошь, исследовать объекты которой было интересно, так как над ними работали с фантазией и каждый аванпост был отдельным уникальным квестом, а не копипастой.
    На авто хотелось просто гонять, докапываясь аки гопник до всего живого, в Рейдж два же хотелось побыстрее добраться до точки «интереса», и глядя на расстояние предстоящее проехать от ближайшей точки быстрого перемещения до цели можно было неслабо так взгрустнуть.

    Игра есть трэш, только не трэш в смысле чёрного юмора с пердежом и прочими радостями, как в Постал или Саус Парк, а трэш в смысле мусор, которому самое место в том сундуке бездарности, из которого вытягивали клещами мёртвую первую часть. Попытка номер два полностью повторила «успех» оригинала и попытки номер три, надеюсь, нам не видать… по крайней мере до следующего факапа Беседки, когда встанет выбор, пойти по электричкам Белорусского направления с протянутой рукой или наобещать с три короба фанатам и продать залежалый отстой.

    4,5 из 10 за аллюзии на Дум и Мэд Макса с вычетом потраченного времени в ожидании увидеть хотя бы нормальный финал, но Тодд Говард скастовал «Сасалити» в мою сторону!
    Играть только в случае, если вы являетесь безумным фанатом Doom, как я, никак не можете дождаться Eternal, и строго приобретя по скидке минимум в 50%! Остальные, смело проходите мимо, ведь эта игра не стоит ни вашего времени, ни денег.    … Expand

    1. Very generic quests and characters
    2. Very short main story
    3. Game breaking bug on the last mission

    This game is really disapointing for me because i was expecting a really good sequel from the first RAGE that i loved so much, it is an entertaining game but the story is poor and could have been much better in general.

    Weird controller sensitivity acceleration that destroys the playability for me. Doom (2016) did not have such thing and had perfect controls. Changing sensitivity did not improve that acceleration.

    Tutorials are a waste of time, they take way too long to show a simple skill.

    O jogo se passa no futuro e em um cenário pós apocalíptico. Um jogo em que na minha opinião é bom, é o primeiro FPS Hack and Slash que já joguei, você vai conquistando habilidades novas em lugares chamados como arcas e essas habilidades podem ser muito úteis nas batalhas

    Now let me talk what really drags down the experience, simply scrolling through the menus the game lags and freezes which is ridiculous. The game froze on me at least 4 times during my playthrough, I glitched once completely through the map and the sound simply stopped working several times, one time during the FINAL boss fight / ending of the game. I had no idea what was going on and had to re-watch the ending on youtube. So many other shooters out there do it so much better, stay away from this and go play those.    … Expand

    I actually love the game even though it is short. But I was not able to finish the game because of the game crashing bug with the elevator before the last mission. Looks like Bethesda never did anything to fix the game. Shame, Bethesda.

    A quick and fun game, yet not a memorable one.

    Completed, had a blast, few weeks and I will for the love of God not be able to tell you what the story was about. Still, the game is ok and playing it is fun. Nothing more

    This game is fun as f*ck. Doom (2016) like fighting experience in a post apocalyptic Mad Max like environment with heapings of cyberpunk colorways everywhere. Do yourself a massive favour and checkout Rage 2.

Да, возможно Rage 2 это некий симбиоз Mad Max, Doom, Far Cry и Bulletstorm, а карта очень напомнила AC Origins, но скажите мне как часто выходят игры такого качества как Rage 2? Совсем нечасто и пусть она не изобретает велосипед, но это очень хороший навороченный велик. Да сюжет, пожалуй, коротковат и не сказать, чтобы он сильно интриговал, но в ворохе дел на забитой до отказа допами карте он уже становится чем-то побочным. А зачищать здесь территорию от вражеских банд безумно весело. Боёвка просто умопомрачительная и затягивает с головой! Помимо великолепного арсенала оружия наш герой обладает и определенными способностями вроде ударной волны сверху, сбоку, с колена; взрывного вихря и прочих ништяков, благодаря которым баталии становятся очень зрелищными и поистине адреналиновыми. Графика в игре отличная, игровой мир прекрасный и разнообразный. Перемещение на авто, вооруженном до зубов, между точками боевых действий происходит от третьего лица и тут конечно большой привет Mad Max. Всё до боли знакомо, хоть и сделано, как по мне получше визуально, в управлении же чуть потопорнее получилось. Погони за вражескими караванами настолько же увлекательны как и у Максимки. В итоге получаем, возможно, не самую новаторскую игру столетия, но точно один из лучших шутанов от первого лица в его классическом виде и с прекрасной картинкой!… Expand

    El combate tanto a pie como en coche es muy bueno y dinámico, pero es lo único bueno que tiene.
    Todo lo demás es malísimo, espera mas ya que el primero fue muy bueno y aun así es mejor que su secuela.

    Un gioco che avrebbe meritato di più. La cura del mondo aperto l'ho trovata buona, meglio di altri giochi con queste caratteristiche, ma è quasi vuoto e disabitato. Questa caratteristica potrebbe sembrare una scelta per come è strutturata la storia del gioco, non lo so. La trama principale è davvero troppo corta e le attività secondarie sono solo dei passatempi, che se conclusa prima laUn gioco che avrebbe meritato di più.     A mix of mad max+doom+far cry. Fun combat and good ambiance, it has its flaws, controls are bad but you can get used to it, the story is weak and the world is semi empty, but it fulfills the task of being a fun game and takes good hours of fun.

    With super-satisfying combat and an ever-growing arsenal of weapons, powers and abilities, Rage 2 is one of the best-feeling singleplayer shooters around. Its inconsistent tone, ho-hum story and uninspired open world missions keep if from achieving true greatness, but it never stops being a whole lot of fun in the moment.

    RAGE 2 is a game that is easy to recommend to people who like and are in search of good open world shooters. A masterpiece it is not, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth playing. Although it’s not as great as I was hoping, I enjoyed my time with this sequel and am glad that I played it. It might not be a masterpiece, but it’s a fun way to spend ten or twelve hours.
