Growing the burgeoning ‘serotonin snapper’ genre, Pupperazi is as relaxed as gaming gets. Aimed at pretty much everyone that isn't a cat, this is another indie gem that’s sure to leave you with an almighty grin on your face and, as an added bonus, you won't get dog hair on your sofa.

A game that coherently turns players into dog paparazzis, keeping them entertained for the whole time.

Now more than ever, there’s a place for delightfully adorable games like Pupperazzi, and I’m glad to see more of it, especially if it involves cute huskies wearing party hats.

Ultimately there just isn't enough here, and even for an indie game in a world of huge budgets, I don't think it's unfair to point that out. Pupperazzi is sweet and delivers what it promises, but you need to make your own fun because the game doesn't test you in any meaningful way, and nor does it let you apply your own creativity to it enough. But it lets you take pictures of doggos, and that's all some people will need.

Excuse the cliché but Pupperazzi is not the dog’s bollocks – it’s the dog’s dinner. This isn’t to say Pupperazzi doesn’t possess some bright points, as its accessibility and the novelty of photographing dogs doing outlandish things is where the game’s charms shine through. However, once you dig deeper and deeper into what Pupperazzi has to offer, all that remains is a drove of simplistic and weightless objectives with no character or spirit to help salvage it. If you want a cheap and cheery photography game to spend a few hours with Pupperazzi will do in a pinch, but like an ageing show dog, the longer it goes on the more it loses its ability to entertain you.

If Pupperazzi was a dog, it would be a pug. It’s cute in theory, but it huffs, puffs and has trouble functioning, stumbling over itself when it tries to run. It’s tough to control, and so small that you wonder where the rest of it went. Pupperazzi, unfortunately, is more like the runt of the litter.

Pupperazzi is a cute game conceptually, but it falters in its execution, making for an experience that I couldn't get behind despite desperately wanting to extend it all the same affection I have for our four-legged friends. Quite simply, the game fails to capture the liveliness and joy that dogs, art, and games can provide us with. While the premise is unique and wholesome, Pupperazzi is ultimately a lot more bark than bite.

The gameplay will always calm you down after a long day of work or school. The soundtrack will soothe you until you are practically asleep. And finally the artistic style is so simple but also so smart in the way it is made. The game is a 10/10 for me. Expand

First of all, the genre it's under on this website says open world. This is NOT an open world game.

This game needs work. It's kind of like a free-roaming Pokemon Snap but with dogs. It's a game I'd love to get behind, but it has a few problems that need working out.

The game has you leaving and re-entering the first area constantly because you can only upload photos to the in-game version of Instagram so many times before you stop getting followers and likes for that session in order to progress, which means, you have to leave and re-enter for it to reset. Honestly, I never made it past the first area because I go so impatient with seeing it with how many times it makes you play in it.

The music for it is very, very repetitive. It starts off cutesy and nice, but when yoou've heard it loop constantly for 45 minutes, it really starts to grate.

You get rewarded bones (or bonks) for completing objectives, but you never get the rewards for completing it. At least I don't think so, my bonk count never increased. After a certain ojective, you get a "selfie mode", which I completed, but for some reason, selfie mode couldn't be found, weird

The camera control is janky as well, not very fluid at all.

I hope the devs work to fix these problems, as it is a game I really want to like and play. The constant repeating of the first area was just too much. They need to fix that if anything.

It's cute and goofy, but the problem is that there's so little else to do that it can get rather boring within minutes, and certain missions and challenges are very particular and gimmicky to the point where you really don't want to do many of them. There's also a number of bugs and unresponsive control issues that often get in the way. If you love dogs and have Game Pass, it wouldn't hurt to check out. I just don't recommend spending $20 on what feels like low-effort shovelware. Expand

The game is cute though and full of great intentions
It can be relaxing at some point until you finde out that there really isnt much to do.. The game runs dry way too early and there should be more to try and keep players coming back.. Graphics aint the best but that wouldve been easy to overlook if there was more to the game than just taking pictures of different dogs
The music aint something to write home about either
Cant say if the game gets deep after more hours because it ended up crashing after about an hour or an hour and a half and still keeps crashing on me when trying to lunch the the game.. If taking pictures of dogs are your biggest dream then i would grab my phone and try to find some real ones
Atleast wait for the developers to solve the crashing issue

Bugs, freezes, lame graphics, lame gameplay, lame everything... As you can guess it, I didn't like it.
