    Such a great experience. One of my favorite games ever, honestly. I have no idea how this is a measly 6.3 user score. Assuming it's some type of review bombing because this is a top-tier game in almost every aspect. The game plays fantastically, the voice acting is a joy to listen to, and the graphics & art style are some of the best available currently in terms of creativity and fun.

    The most creative and imaginative game you will probably ever play. The art and design is incredible. This is the kind of game that gives video games a good name, and the type of game that shows how great games can be, as an industry.     Psychonauts 2 shows us that it doesn't matter how long a game has been cooking, as long as it has great cooks behind it, and boy does it have just that. Tim Schafer and his team really outdid themselves, making a sequel to a sixteen-year-old game that not only matches the quality of it, but outshines it.

    There isn't too much to say about Psychonauts 2, has it is Psychonauts... with a 2. What I want to say it's that it's just a continuation of Razputin story, there is not much new, which is    Psychonauts 2 try to complete the story of Razputin where it was left 16 years ago. It succeeds, but in doing so it feels heavy and clunky, has it stayed in the past, without jumping forward.
    There isn't too much to say about Psychonauts 2, has it is Psychonauts... with a 2. What I want to say it's that it's just a continuation of Razputin story, there is not much new, which is surprising.
    Psychonauts came out with the genial idea of spies getting inside the brain of people; Psychonauts 2 doesn't invent that, it just widens it. The combat is the same exact combat system that was used in the first game, only more precise. Useless to say it didn't age too well, it's not that it doesn't work, it's just not too fun to play. The exploration's very similar too, the only benefit of combing through all the levels is to get achievements and personal enjoyment of 100% completion. I would have at least hoped for some secret cutscene, file log, or at least cosmetics, but none of those are present.
    At least the story stay true to the great work that Tim Schafer offered, alternating funny moments to sad one, and narrating some deep topics, like war and family, whit a new point of view that almost no other game has. Unfortunately, it relies on its old characters, which are very distinct from one another, and some of them even memorable, without adding new ones to the scenes. What feels new though are the controls. In the first game, the platforming wasn't precise and often felt mechanical. In the new game, everything is smoother and more precise, making the platforming part way more fun. The environmental puzzles are also fun, because they require the player to think, but not too much to need to watch a guide, and once you figure the solution, you can complete the puzzle right away, instead of having to move from one part of the level to the other, as many other games do, just to press a button or switching a lever.
    Overall Psychonauts 2 is an old game polished, which isn't a bad thing, it's just a little bit disappointing given how much hope I had for this title. It still can be a great experience if you like story-driven games.

    I LOVED this game. My GOTY…which was not easy to decide this year. Fantastic art direction, gameplay and a terrific story to boot, Psychonauts 2 was just incredible.

    juegazo, divertido y entretenido, me gustan las expresiones y las voces de los personajes y como se desenvuelven y encajan en la historia psicodélica. los mundos cambiantes y enemigos diversos hacen de la experiencia constantemente diversa y divertida

    El juego sobresale por su jugabilidad y su narrativa fuertemente arraigada a está. Artísticamente es muy bello y los personajes son muy profundos.

What was less than stellar is improved here, particularly the platforming segments and post-story free roam, but cameraIt's taken Double Fine sixteen long years to release a sequel to one of their best games. Thankfully Psychonauts 2 was well worth the wait, maintaining everything that made the original so memorable such as imaginitive game design, hilarious humor and fun abilities. What was less than stellar is improved here, particularly the platforming segments and post-story free roam, but camera issues are still occasionally present.     Masterpiece! The only bad side of this game is that it makes other games feel dull. Compare this much creativity and color and fun with other titles which are repetitive and similar to each other... It is a very rare thing for me that I even would consider paying the full price for a vifeo game. Though I played it on game pass...     I was impressed with how the game manages to not pretend like you magically forgot all of the powers you learned in the first game, you get them all almost instantly with a little hey, remember that thing you can do, that would be helpful here.. as well as introducing new abilities tht make for some interesting puzzles early on..
    And for better or for worse psychonauts 2 feels very much like a PS2 game.. there is no handholding here, The game takes place in a semi open world where you have to find a cast of charcters and enter their minds for the more linear parts of the game.. so you ve to figure out what to do with whatever the previous character told you.. no arrows, no spot marked on the map, just go find them.. but once you do and things get rolling, psychonauts 2 is a blast… now there isn’t as much variety gameplay wise as there was in the first game as you were learning new abilities, so it sticks to straight up 3d platforming with new elements here and there based on the new power, but the game still manages to feel fresh throughout, even throwing you into a cooking show for one level.. and one of my favorite moments when I knew I loved this game was going through this dark forest in search of some bees..
    Theres so much charm here, such a special game..
    My only complaing with Psychonauts 2 is the combat, it just isn’t that fun, you have so many powers but only 4 action buttons so you have to constantly remap depending on certain enemies, and I feel enemies are just so spongy for how much the game asks of you, but there are accessibility optiosn to make you invincible if youre just over a section or don’t care to deal with the annoying combat, but definitely turn this off for boss battles, because these moments are really fun and special and youll be missing out not giving them your all.
    Psychonauts 2 is a really special game full of charm and humor.
    A must play

    Solo los Sonyers ardidos califican mal este juegazo, este es mucho mejor y mayor duración que el R&C:RA que según goty y goty cuando solamente lo vi como un nuevo plataformas con Shooter en tercera persona...

    Double Fine did a great job at recreating the spirit of the original Psychonauts. Playing the sequel, I felt like I travelled to the past to spend some time with my favorite childhood game once again. Imprecise controls are a less welcome throwback to 2005, but fiercely intelligent humor, brilliant writing and tons of unconventional ideas make it easy to turn a blind eye to this and some other flaws.     As a close friend of mine texted me, it’s like a playable Tim Burton movie. Its imaginative reach leaves most other lighthearted adventure games far behind.
