While not perfect I actually quite enjoyed the presentation side of the game because both the visuals and sound design create a realistic feel when it comes to fishing.
    The tutorials in the game have a lot of depth Unfortunately the game suffers with quite a few technical issues which ultimately hold the game back quite a bit. I find the casting mechanics to be very awkward and the lack of realism here did impact the fun factor. I am a personal fan of fishing games since the SNES days. If you’re not a fan of fishing game’s then there isn’t anything here that will change your mind anyway. In my opinion the game is overpriced for what you get which will definitely be off-putting for some. Hopefully we see some patches in the future to correct the bugs in the game. I use to fish often as a kid my dad owned a bait shop, and I got burnt out on real life fishing. As stated earlier I do have a soft spot for video games. I will say though that there is a little bit of fun to be had when played here but go past that and you end up noticing a lot of technical issues. These technical issues without a doubt hold the game back quite a lot and the realism you get from the good visuals and sound design gets lost because of this. At the end of the day then Pro Fishing Simulator is definitely not for everybody but if you’re a fan of these types of game’s then there will be something here for you. I recommend the game to those who enjoy fishing games if you can look past the price. Hopefully we will see a patch in the near future so we can enjoy the game for what it definitely has the potential to be. If your a fan of fishing games like me you'll need it in your game library, if you are not a fan of fishing games you probably won't be looking to buy it anyway.    … Expand
