A super cute and fun game with an interesting control scheme and puzzles that will work your brain, but not too hard. Great family game with super fun and chaotic multiplayer that will have everyone laughing. Plus, who can resist the adorable pups RED and BLUE?

PHOGS! is possibly one of the best co-op games ever made and the perfect remedy for a hellish 12 months.

PHOGS! puts a smile on your face, is utterly weird yet charming, and unique. Give a two headed dog a bone, or two, and download PHOGS! on GamePass if you’re looking for a unique puzzler that is simple yet entertaining.

Without a doubt, PHOGS! is one of the best co-op games released this year so if you enjoy gaming with a pal, you'll want to play this.

Phogs! will likely offer the experienced player a good ten hours of playtime, as they'll have seen most of these tricks done in other puzzle games. There is a novelty in the way Bit Loom Games makes players think and rethink navigation with a two-headed dog, but there's nothing that's going to challenge anyone. However, Phogs! seems designed to be a child's favorite toy as they grow up, and that's a real joy. While adults who can appreciate a brief vacation from reality will have some fun here, animal-loving kids and their parents will almost certainly adore their deep dive into a charming land of balloon men, pinball, and oh so many treats.

Should you be in the market for a fun puzzler that never takes itself seriously, PHOGS! on Xbox is the game for you. It works well as a solo experience, but goes up a level when split across two players, whether they be sofa or online-based. A few issues crop up from time to time but for the majority of the playthrough Red and Blue are two of the most well-behaved doggos you could ever wish to meet. You’ll most certainly want to give these two dogs a bone.

PHOGS! was a unique experience that I recommend to any gamer. From its one-of-kind control scheme to the brightly colored and whimsical world that is the phoggyverse, the puzzles will challenge you just enough to feel satisfying but not elementary. Single player and co-op modes are a plus as well, I challenge any duo to step up to the task of playing with one controller!

PHOGS’ greatest weapon is just how freakin’ adorable it is. Once you’ve seen those two happy doggo faces, there’s no going back. The environments are wonderful, too; the game’s quirky art style never fails to put a smile on your face. The gameplay itself, however, doesn’t always quite live up to those same heady heights. There are some terrific and unique puzzles, but not all levels have been created equally, and some of them outstay their welcome. This double-headed doggo adventure has plenty to offer, but you’re best off playing in short bursts.

PHOGS! is a creative and dreamy puzzle game with 3 worlds based on PHOGS! concepts: food, sleep and fun. Its levels are like nothing you'vePHOGS! is a creative and dreamy puzzle game with 3 worlds based on PHOGS! concepts: food, sleep and fun. Its levels are like nothing you've ever seen before; they take real-world concepts and put a surreal, dreamy spin on them with bright 3D graphics that will leave you wanting more. As you navigate through vibrant, puzzle-filled levels, you play as Red and Blue, a two-headed dog. The premise was enough to draw me in, and opening the game did so further.

PHOGS!' gameplay is innovative; despite bringing fresh concepts to the table, playing the game feels intuitive. Each level features cute characters who desire an item you can bring them for a bone after solving a short bonus puzzle in the area. The puzzles encourage - and require - teamwork, and most of them take just the right amount of problem-solving before that coveted "aha!" moment. PHOGS requires you to think, but rarely pushes players to the point of frustration.

Each world has its own unique gameplay features - ranging from a world that allows you to turn on and off lights that reveal platforms, a beach world with mini-puzzles, and a food section with map-based puzzles. The visuals for each world are distinct and fun, with the adorable characters adding to the immersive vibe. After finishing each world, I was eager to see what the next would bring.

While the gameplay is fun for the most part, game-breaking bugs proved frustrating; I had to reset some levels two or three times after an item fell into an unreachable location, and another time a level didn't open when it should have, forcing me to restart the game. It was disappointing to find such game-breaking bugs in a couch co-op game I otherwise strongly enjoyed.

While PHOGS! brings unique and fun concepts to the table both in its gameplay and visuals, frequent bugs threw a monkey wrench in my experience and forced me to step away from the game more than once. While the game itself deserves a 9/10 based on creativity, gameplay, innovation, and visuals, the bugs I encountered hindered my experience.

    PHOGS!
One of the best games of the year
If you ever wanted to know what it must be like to be catdog, phogs comes pretty close to allowing you to do just that, this is a physica based 7 hour long 3d platformer where you play a 2 headed dog, red a blue.. and this game can be played solo or local coop, however after playing through the tutorial in coop, id advise against it as I cen see this being much for frustrating, especially since it seems that one player controls commands of both players, so it can be quite annoying when you bite onto something and then them biting makes you unbite, not sure if this is a bug or mor related to the fact I was playing wit ha ps5 controller and my girlfriend was playing with a ps4 controller, but phogs is one of the most fun games ive played all year and Is a sleeper hit.. it deserves for you to go out and play right now… this game consist of 3 main hub worlds, and each hub world containing 6 levels and 1 boss level,.. every world having their own gimmicks and feel to stop phogs from feeling to repetitive, youll be going through these levels, solving its pizzls, collecting golden dog bones to unlock cosmetics, and helping the inhabbitents of each hub world.. first there is whats probably my least favorite world, the sweets and snacks world…this is the most puzzle focused and most exhausting world of the whole game, a lot of moving objects through the level so that you can feed a snake and travel to the next section… theres also a dream world which is more so a babys first version of the snacks world, but rather than a lot of monuverings food about the levels, youll be playing with light, making platforms and walls appear and disappear, some really cool moments through these levels, and then finally there is in my opinion the best section of the game, the section worth buying this game for alone.. that’s right, I feel like you could buy this game, just play through the beach orld levels and leave happy and satisfied, and you can do jut that as PHOGS! Lets you play this game in any order youd like.. the variety and charm within this world is Mario galaxy level.. it never stops being fun and I wish so bad the rest of the games hubs were this varied and fun, phogs could’ve been close to masterpiece status if that were the case, here youll be playing through arcage games, playing mini golf, playing tennis with the worlds boss… The beach world is Nintendo level good and it what ultimately makes phogs am ust have game…
While there clearly isa section of levels tha steals the show for me, there is so much fun and even frustration to be had with PHOGS!, one of the greatest surprises of the year.
    I give PHOGS!
    an 8/10
