While there is a few minor things I don't like, this game is fantastic, but I expect nothing less from Artifex Mundi. They prove repeatedly that they make incredible games for anyone of any age to enjoy. In terms of quality of game play, voice acting, artwork and story, this is game you need to play if you're a fan of the genre. As I've stated before, the addition of the new point of view with the other character is worth experiencing. Finding objects and solving puzzles is just the tip of the iceberg where this game is concerned! If you haven't ever tried an Artifex Mundi game, you need to start right now.

Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders may well tell a storyline independent of the publisher's other titles, but the game mechanics will be more than familiar to those keeping up with them. The mini-games, puzzles, and hidden object scenes all perform as they should, and the rune battle encounters have been switched up a little to try to keep them fresh in one of few changes to the game format. The protagonist's companion can make conversation painful at times, which is a shame as the developer chose to try something new here too. Regardless, the title will still sate fans of the publisher, and those looking for a quick GamerScore fix, as well as providing a great entry point for those new to the genre.

Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders has a bunch of fascinating character designs, an interesting location to explore and an intriguing premise. Sadly, it fails to capitalise in terms of the narrative, whilst the artwork and animation is below the usual standard of these hidden object adventures.

Whilst I enjoyed the puzzles that were present in the game it would’ve been nice if they were a little more challenging. Technically the gameWhilst I enjoyed the puzzles that were present in the game it would’ve been nice if they were a little more challenging. Technically the game suffers with a few issues every now and then, but thankfully none of them are major problems. Does Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders do enough to get a recommendation from me? As I’ve said many times before I really enjoy Artifex Mundi as a developer because their game’s are always good and there hasn’t really been a bad one yet. That being said I can’t help but feel that as of late the impact of their game’s has dwindled a little bit because basically there aren’t many differences in their game’s, well that is until now. Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders introduces the new idea of being able to play as two different characters and this does make things that little more interesting. As usual once again the story is as good as ever and there is also a lot of variety included in the puzzles you come across. I would however have liked to have been challenged a little more when it came to the puzzles. Thankfully though this is only a small gripe and in the end Persian Nights: Sands of Wonders gets everything else pretty much spot on and it definitely deserves to get a big recommendation from me.
