There are a decent variety of different mini-games at your disposal and there isn’t really a bad game in the collection, which is great. While the presentation side of the game is far from perfect I must admit that I enjoyed what both the visuals and sound design had to offer. It’s very simple to grasp and no game ever plays out the same way which means replaybilty is quite high. While the one button idea can be effective at times it would’ve been nice to have been able to have a little more control over my character. There are no online components present which is a shame because I think this game is perfect for online. It can at times get repetitive quickly and even though there is a decent variety of game’s available to you I still recommend that you play the game in short bursts. Remember Flappy Bird, the simplicity yet addictiveness? If not then you were probably living under a rock because it was huge on cell phones back in the day as a free to play originally. Party Jousting is a game that is very similar too Flappy Bird but without a doubt it has far more depth to it and in the end it’s also a lot more fun as well. The gameplay features a one button style and while it would’ve been nice to have been able to have more control over my character it still works pretty well especially when played with friends. Playing with friends is basically the only way you can play this game and as far as local multiplayer offerings go it’s a very good addition to the genre. I would however recommend that you play the game in short bursts though because even though there are a decent array of mini-games for you to get to grips with it still can get repetetive quite quickly. That being said it still does keep you coming back for more time and time again and that’s mainly because the collection of game’s variety present and when in full flow each game delivers a huge amount of fun. At the end of the day then like the name suggests Party Jousting is perfect for party’s and if you’re after a game that offers you fun and takes you away from the more stressful gaming experiences then you’ll thoroughly enjoy what this game has to offer.
