This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Single (slow) paced walkathon, barely any puzzle elements at all and what there are are simple go to point A to find out you need something in point B to get open point A.
The story imo isn't very engaging at all, barely if any interaction with anyone else and you felt that it was four hours or so of my life I cannot get back.
Even the collectables are dull making you eventually not bother interacting with anything just to get the slow slow paced story going, just aimlessly get from point A to B without any sense of adventure or discovery as so linear.
There are a few different endings which if you wish to see them you need to save before the credits so you can go back in and redo them as the laughable thing here is if you let the credits roll you cannot go back you have to start over!!
There are many clunky graphical moments too with one particular scene where you have to jump in water on my series x I had to look down as the flashing blocks were so annoying (they are not meant to be there)
In a word summing this game up (unless you have a desperate interest in the genre or era) uttter crap

Paradise Lost takes us an abandoned yet magnificent bunker. With underground palaces, shopping streets and lush gardens, there is no shortage of memorable places to discover. Unfortunately, the storytelling is lacking, and it takes a while before the story gets somewhat interesting. All in all, Paradise Lost is a bland experience that is further hampered by some technical problems, but thanks to the beautiful environments together with a relatively low price, the bunker is still worth visiting for fans of the genre.

Paradise Lost on Xbox has surprised from start to finish. It tells a good and moving story, and deals with an alternative chilling history with some brilliant visuals and well-written narrative. It's not a challenging game at all but rather a narrative exploration that takes you on quite a linear path.

Paradise Lost manages to keep the intrigue high with its alternate history tale and great environmental story-telling, but is let down by it glacier-esque pace. If you can push through that though, there is an entertaining time to be had here.
