It provides the sort of addictive gameplay loop that you think you’ll get bored of after 10 minutes – yet four hours later you’re still there, continuing to decimate stick men with a huge grin on your face. Seriously, One Finger Death Punch 2 is a hell of a lot more fun than it has any right to be. And for such a cheap price, there’s absolutely no reason to not give it a go.

For a real challenge, and for a quick blast when you have a few moments to kill, One Finger Death Punch 2 on Xbox One is perfection. It’s not the deepest game ever, but it’s not trying to be: it’s been designed to deliver fast, fun, furious martial arts mayhem, and as such it’s a success.

OFDP2 is straight to the point in what it is trying to achieve; a simple but challenging test of your reflexes and focus. While some will no doubt relish the challenge and try to test their ability, others may lose interest in the repetitive simplicity. There is no smoke and mirrors here though, so for those who want a no-nonsense pick-up and play fast action reflex game then OFDP2 is for you.

One Finger Death Punch 2 offers great bang for your buck. While the graphics are simplistic, don't let that fool you, this game deliversOne Finger Death Punch 2 offers great bang for your buck. While the graphics are simplistic, don't let that fool you, this game delivers complex and intense gameplay. You may think being a 2 button side scrolling beat 'em up makes this easy, well as the speed gets quicker and the enemy mobs start pouring upon you from both sides, you will get a satisfying grin as you steal an enemy axe and lop some stick figure heads clean off and only 50 more left to kill on your last life, Challenge Accepted! I found myself having a lot of fun with this game, the simplicity in the design serves the game beautifully, with some awesome effects and special moves and a variety of different weapons this game will keep you entertained for quite some time and is an absolute must have. A couple of different modes here will ensure you come back for more including a campaign mode (Levels) and Survial being the main 2, if you go into the More section things become a little more entertaining, offering a local Co Op mode, a Gauntlet mode and a amusing mode where you also have to shoo a cat that hides half the screen. Also you can find the training here as well. All in all, this game delivers massively on replayability value, entertainment value and good old fashioned have a laugh value.
