I loved my short time with this delightful little game. Yes, it’s a swift experience, but sometimes the shorter packages are the best ones. The gameplay is great, but I can fully understand that this won’t be for everyone, and I think you can count that sentiment for the game as a whole.

One Eye Kutkh is a beautiful audio-visual tale ideal for the youngest of home. A very nice game but also excessively short.

One Eyed Kutkh is short and sweet. It’s not a particularly challenging game, but it should please just about anyone that doesn’t expect too much from it. The gameplay remains simplistic throughout, making this a very accessible and easy to understand experience. Ultimately, the target audience is clearly focused at the younger gamer.

Small games are often games that surprise you quite a lot because they offer you a nice short playthrough with a lot less frustrating moments.Small games are often games that surprise you quite a lot because they offer you a nice short playthrough with a lot less frustrating moments. One Eyed Kutkh can be described as that sort of game and whilst it may not be for everyone I found it to be a very enjoyable and charming little game. The gameplay doesn’t offer you much and I would have liked a little bit more freedom every now and then, but in my opinion the length of the game is perfect. It has just the right amount of content for you to get to grips with and it stays short and sweet without overstaying its welcome. There are a few puzzles for you to tackle in the game and I found some of them to be pretty clever and the best thing is that they never frustrated me. The puzzles are a little on the easy side and if you like games that offer you a challenge then you won’t find it with this game, but I must admit that the lack of challenge combined with the game’s style extremely well in my opinion. The story in the game is very minamilist but I think the story that is present has been done really well and in the end the charming side to it made me care about the characters in the game. Unfortunately the game has no replayability whatsoever and you’re highly unlikely to return to the game once you complete it, but even though it doesn’t offer much replay value I think the price of the game is perfect for what content you do get. Technically the game holds up really well and I didn’t suffer with any problems throughout my playthrough, which is great. The presentation side of the game is something that tickled my fancy a lot. Visually the game has a cartoony feel about it and throughout my time with the game I thought the visuals told a story all on their own. I also liked the sound design that was present in the game and I think the soothing atmosphere combined with the game’s style very well. At the end of the day One Eyed Kutkh isn’t going to win any awards and it might be too simple for a lot of people, but for me it had something about it that drew me in and that made me enjoy what was on offer quite a bit. The price of the game is very cheap and if you don’t know whether to purchase it then I recommend you do because you definitely get your money’s worth and I think you’ll find that you’ll enjoy this cute little game quite a lot.
