    One Dog Story might not have the punch of a modern game but it’s style and arcade mannerisms make for a fun and entertaining experience. Literally, you can see the characters expressions and when it comes to pixels that can be a hard task indeed. Well done team.

    One dog story - So this game is fairly simple and easy. The controls are a little glitchy because you can get stuck underneath objects thatOne dog story - So this game is fairly simple and easy. The controls are a little glitchy because you can get stuck underneath objects that cause you to glitch and crash the game. The game makes it seem like you level up and can upgrade but the “upgrades” don’t continue to stay with you if you get hit. The enemies you have to defeat dont always register the hits so you can take damage when you shouldn’t have had to. Now there are permanent upgrades that you are able to get but they are hidden and have to be found so if you don’t explore it's not easy to gain health etc. The mechanics arent too bad. They seemed to try and go with a megaman / metroid look, but I personally prefer those games to this one. The graphics arent anything special for the genre. It's not the worst game but its not amazing either. If you’re looking for a value priced title to pass the time give One Dog Story a try on your Xbox One.… Expand
