    Old Man's Journey presentation feels unique in every way with the colorful visuals and good sound design come alive in many areas. The story that’s present in the game has verbiage, yet it's still immersive and connects with you in all the right ways. Each levels in the game feature new mechanics and these mechanics have been done very well so everything stays fresh and interesting throughout your time with the game. The game sort of just throws you in immediately, I feel a tutorial would’ve been a nice touch although figuring out things on your own isn't so bad in this game. It’s not a very lengthy game and once completed it has little replay value available to you. I would’ve liked more interaction with the environments traversed in the game at times. It’s a big risk to make a game that tells a story without words, thankfully Old Man’s Journey does get it right and even though there aren’t any words to tell the story, it's immersive and tells the story perfectly in the end. The games overall package stirs up a number of different emotions during your journey. I think these different emotions though would’ve been heightened further if you were allowed to interact more with the different environments. That being said I found the gameplay to be enjoyable and while it’s a bit on the short side the variety of puzzles make your time with the game very fresh and interesting throughout and completing these puzzles with the different mechanics in play always felt rewarding. Old Man’s Journey is one of those games that stay with you long after completion because it features a uniqueness that’s worth experiencing and even though it isn’t the perfect experience I still recommend that you give this game a try.     Про эту игру очень сложно что-то сказать, так как полное прохождение займёт не более двух часов, даже если максимально не торопиться и тупить, а также это не совсем игра, скорее «тыкни пару раз курсором и посмотри финальные титры»… да, именно курсором, хотя игру проходил на Xbox One! Главный и единственный плюс данного игрового    “Old Man’s Journey” или халявные 1000G за полтора часа

    Про эту игру очень сложно что-то сказать, так как полное прохождение займёт не более двух часов, даже если максимально не торопиться и тупить, а также это не совсем игра, скорее «тыкни пару раз курсором и посмотри финальные титры»… да, именно курсором, хотя игру проходил на Xbox One!
    Главный и единственный плюс данного игрового коротыша - визуал. Нарисовано всё очень красиво и неплохо анимировано, с душой, так сказать.
    Далее идёт музыкальное сопровождение, которое тоже на весьма высоком уровне и партитур для такого хронометража более чем достаточно, поболее других инди-игр большей протяжённости.
    Остальное либо ни о чём, либо плохо, что удручает, ведь на первый взгляд кажется как будто вот она релаксирующая красота, как «Путешествие» на PS3, даже название похоже, но увы буквально через 10 минут от «геймплея» можно пробить фейспалм!
    Наша задача дойти из пункта А в пункт Б, двигая холмы, составляя из них дорогу, то есть решать локальные головоломки, которые бесят почти каждый раз из-за неадекватного управления! Игра стопудово делалась для пк под мышку и на геймпаде играть неприятно, а порой даже сложно - есть момент с поездом, где надо двигать участки дороги, делать это надо быстро, но я стик геймпада для этого не предназначен… в общем, прошёл этот кусок попытки с пятой без ошибок ради ачивки, выбесило конкретно!
    После каждого отрезка/уровня наш дедушка садится отдохнуть и нам показывают в виде флешбеков красивые анимированные картинки.
    Есть сюжет какой никакой, он банальный до невозможности - очередная трагическая история с счастливым концом, которая должна вызвать пожалейку, но не вызывает, потому что персонаж не раскрыт толком и почему я должен ему сочувствовать не ясно? Типа музыку грустную поставили и я поплыл, да? Не-а, это так не работает.
    Подведём итог: игра просто бессмысленна. В ней нет геймплея, нет интересных головоломок, нет толком сюжета, а то что есть подано просто никакуще и кроме музыки с визуальной красотой нет ничего, тогда зачем в это играть? Лучше на ютубе посмотрите.

    Didn't enjoy the story.

    The gameplay is much more suited for a touchscreen, it's not a hard game.

    Thankfully short.

    The game looks great and sounds great, it's really inventive and unique. Unfortunately the story baffled me with a predictable ending that had been pretty overhyped by people who reviewed the game. Ran into a few bugs throughout the game where I had to exit out of the level and restart. Cool lil movie-length game and it's free to play on Xbox Game Pass right now

    Old Man’s Journey é um jogo desenvolvido e publicado pela Broken Rules lá no ano de 2017. Este game ganhou muito destaque no cenário Mobile, sendo que foi nesta plataforma que ele ganhou em 2018 o prêmio de melhor jogo Indie na Google Play Awards. Literalmente um verdadeiro multiplataforma, já que está disponível para PC, MAC, Android, IOS, Xbox, Switch e PS4.

    O jogo nos leva por uma aventura com um protagonista idoso (Não, o jogo não nos mostra nada escrito, imagens e sons podem fazer os sentimentos serem muito mais fortes que um texto em si, então não sabemos o nome do protagonista).

    Este simpático senhor ao receber uma carta, supostamente envolvendo sua antiga família (e principalmente seu amor), parte para reencontra-los, onde então, quem sabe, pode consertar os erros que as suas escolhas de vida fizeram os perder.
    Memória do velho em Old Man's Journey

    Com pouco mais de 1 hora e meia, você irá ter detalhes que contam o passado do protagonista, bem como suas escolhas moldaram o seu destino. Creio que Old Man’s Journey para além de uma simpática história, é acima de tudo um marco para a reflexão da nossa própria vida.

    Onde devemos parar para refletir quais escolhas que fizemos e para onde elas nos levaram. Este jogo nos mostra que talvez ainda haja tempo para mudarmos radicalmente nossa perspectiva sobre a vida e viver algo que deixamos para traz.
    “Trilha sonora e arte são impecáveis”

    Com uma trilha sonora magnífica e traços belíssimos, a jornada do velho senhor é um deleite para nossa gameplay. Sem quebra-cabeças impossíveis, ou soluções demoradas, o jogo é incrivelmente fácil e indicado para todas as idades, inclusive aqueles que talvez precisem refletir um pouco durante algo puramente voltado ao entretenimento.

    Nada é descartável, cada fase é um desafio ao nosso coração. Para progredir o jogador deverá interagir com o cenário e personagens apenas tocando na tela. Sem inimigos para combater ou armas para usar, Old Man’s Journey tem uma pegada diferente, onde o jogador controla o cenário e tentar concluir a trama apenas sentindo as memórias do bom velhinho.

    Não tenho muito mais a dizer muito mais sobre jogo, pois acho que a melhor experiência possível é sentida apenas durante a gameplay, mas deixarei aqui uma breve conclusão indicando que poucos jogos conseguem unir tão bem arte e narrativa sem expressar nenhuma palavra. Bom Old Man’s Journey faz isso primorosamente.

    Um último adendo, este game vale com certeza a aquisição e para os caçadores de conquista este é um jogo, simples de se completar todas elas.    … Expand

    The art style is lovely and the music was nice. The story never really gets much details but the general info we saw did enough to keep you at least somewhat interested. The point and click puzzle gameplay just felt a bit too simple for my taste. I feel like I would enjoy this more on a phone, feels like a perfect fit with touch controls. Glad I played this on Game Pass.

    Old Man’s Journey is a wonderful little addition to the Xbox One family. It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, however if you’re a fan of story, puzzles, and innovation, and are happy to take it all in at a gentle pace, then it’s well worth you giving this a try.

    Old Man’s Journey is a decent brain teaser that manages to relay such a beautiful and meaningful story without ever uttering a single word. The game intertwines its gorgeous landscapes with its intelligent puzzle framework to great effect, ultimately pushing forward an experience like no other. That said, the game’s lack of basic guidance and its short running time is bound to disappoint those that seek something more grounded and lengthy.
