I'm not a fan of Nicole, either the game or the heroine. The gameplay is dull, the hook of trying to get these boys to like you is boring at best and annoying at worst, the characters don't ever come alive, and it’s generally not as much fun as other visual novels I've played, even others from the Ratalaika stable.

Nicole: This is kinda like a cross between a dating sim and detective sim. The game seems pretty cool as an overall whole. The mystery andNicole: This is kinda like a cross between a dating sim and detective sim. The game seems pretty cool as an overall whole. The mystery and characters are pretty unique and interesting and interacting with them isnt too bad. But it's a letdown overall. The controls are far to basic and even at that dont respond as quickly as they should. Plus the talking is unable to be skipped pass even though it gives you the option to skip past it. So your stuck going through all the pointless talking as the main info doesnt come til the end of each encounter. And then even at that the responses you give barely improves the relationships. The cool part is that your given the option to play the game with a level building playthrough or a skip through where it's basically a dating sim through and through. I preferred the level scaling. That part was enjoyable but each day didnt leave you but time to really do one activity and then the rest was spent always talking and that did nothing to assist with the gameplay. I feel they need to revisit this game and change the mechanics on the skipping and the time consumption rate to include more options for activities . Game was a let down but the story did make it worth playing. Expand
