Oct 30, 2020In recent years, EA Sports have added plenty of new modes across their licensed games, and NHL 21 on the Xbox One is no exception; there is a lot of ice hockey on offer. The variety will offer something for everyone, but there are issues with the gameplay on the rink that mean some modes work better than others.

Oct 22, 2020EA Vancouver had to start somewhere in its effort to make Be a Pro more dynamic and immersive, and this update indeed feels like a first effort. When the studio introduced Be a Pro in 2008’s NHL 09, it set a high bar for sports career modes. But others have eclipsed it in the years since, making this attempt feel dated rather than new.
