    Never boring, always changing and fun to play, Neon Chrome is a game every indie gamer should have in their collection.

    Neon Chrome sports a great and deep mix of twin-stick shooter and roguelike mechanics, with a satisfying sense of progression and good challenges. Its neon-like artistic design feels a bit overused and uninspired, but overall it's one of the best roguelike/shooter games around.

    This is a really great twin stick shooter and I really enjoyed playing through it. It works in a similar vein as Enter the Gungeon where eachThis is a really great twin stick shooter and I really enjoyed playing through it. It works in a similar vein as Enter the Gungeon where each run is independent and you run through levels to a boss. You can earn cash and permanently upgrade your character in a few ways and even use your cash to purchase guns and abilities to start out with in the next run.
    This game's visuals and music are both pretty good. Not great, but definitely acceptable for the price point. The gameplay is snappy and intuitive and I really loved the fluidity and mechanics once I got used to it. In my opinion, the games best asset is destructibility. Virtually every wall, chair, vending machine, and door you see can be destroyed. This makes approaching fights really fun because you have a thousand options to each one. You can barrel through the door guns blazing or you can blast your way through 4 walls and hit your target from across the level. It's also really cool to see the absolute carnage you caused at the end of the levels as each blood splatter and enemy corpse stays on the level.
    I also really liked the games approach to guns. Instead of each gun having a dedicated set of stats, each gun has a level with its stats changing accordingly. This is great because it means no gun is necessarily better than another. You could have the best gun in the game, but if you find a different gun at a much higher level, it will be much better. This means that you don't have to use just one or two guns, you will be using all sorts of guns each time which really makes the game fresh and interesting for much longer.
    Overall, if you are a fan of twin stick shooters, pick this up. The story isn't fantastic but the gameplay makes up for it and there is a decent amount of replayability as the difficulty scales up after each successful run. Give it a shot.    … Full Review »

    Les bruitages sont pas trop mal et au moins c'est fluide... un peu normal quand même puisqu'on dirait un Loaded de l'ère PS1 (la toute première plaiestassion) mais ici en hacheday, attention ! on dirige comme de coutume le déplacement avec le stick gauche et la visée avec le droit... et comme d'habitude la visée est impraticable, ce qui rend le "jeu" injouable comme tous les "jeux" de cet acabit.

    Pour se la jouer "vieille école", c'est-à-dire cette époque lointaine où le contenu était très limité, la difficulté est très élevée (pour prolonger la durée de vie) et par con-séquent on meure très rapidement et on recommence souvent ce jeu très con. Presque tout le temps en fait.
