School Teacher on Xbox One is stuck in that awkward middle-ground of being too simplistic for older kids and not hand-holding enough for the younger crowd. While some of the mini-game ideas are creative, the short blasts of fun they could deliver is curtailed by repetition. Sure, credit is deserved for the attempt to ensure a varied mixture of mini-games is present, but everything else just kills any kind of momentum it could gain.

My Universe: School Teacher has you playing as a young teacher with a mission of bringing your new school back to a top rated institute. My Universe: School Teacher has you playing as a young teacher with a mission of bringing your new school back to a top rated institute. Motivate your pupils, improve their results and organize school contests and festivals. Become a model teacher as you take care of more difficult classes, win prizes and complete the director’s objectives, unlocking new items along the way. While My Universe School Teacher looks to entertain with a range of mini-games suitable for gamers of all ages, the enjoyment is short-lived, if present at all. And, given the hefty price of admission I expected more, you should certainly expect to get more for your hard earned money so you may want to wait for this months sale it may be there again better price tag. The premise of My Universe School Teacher is that you’re brought in as a savior for a failing school and knock it into a top notch educational center. That’s a lot of pressure on a single teacher that’s fresh to the trauma ongoing currently, but the headmaster believes you are capable of making the changes (sounds like a movie plot). I wish these situations were more common place and realistic that would make a lot of students actually love their school and they could've be more capable of securing our future when we need them most. Teach your pupils about geometry, biology, art and much more, each discipline featuring its own mini-game. Every student in your classroom has unique strengths and weaknesses to adapt your teaching style to so you can ensure they can follow and learn in the best conditions for them. Good luck dealing with kids and raising this school from the current turmoil. Not a terrible game but I did expect a little more of it, however maybe it was aimed at a younger age group than most games of this genre on Xbox. Expand
