    Made with clear and undivided attention toward its players who may be discovering video games for the first time ever in their young lives, My Friend Peppa is a lovely achievement in family gaming.

    We’re discerning adults, and we expect value for money. My Friend Peppa Pig lasts about as long as a bag of Percy Pigs, but costs about twenty times as much. And when a six-year old, far less discerning than we are, complains about how often it repeats itself, and how much it tends to take control away, then we tend to listen.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Honestly the game is terrible. Incredibly simple, and yet somehow the devs managed to make a complete mess of it.
    Every time you start, Daddy pig acts like he’s never seen you before. Actions repeat over and over again which is incredibly annoying, for example went to windy castle for the achievement, came back into the house and then the family said we were going to windy caste, again. There’s no way out, you have to do it all over again. Went to granny’s house, did the plane thing, then you are promoted every time you see grandpa in the garden to do it again, there’s no way of skipping once something has started. It takes about 8 clicks just to get in the game.
    The loading screens take forever.
    There’s no way to skip dialogue.
    Just terrible.    … Expand
