Overall the game is quite cool, however a few disappointments with lack of ruts to hook the bike in, the whips are straight up crap. Physics are good but you really have to feather the throttle which makes it hard. if you slightly over jump something you bail. AI is perfect lines no crashes. This leaving 1 main line in the dirt which is another thing as it looks washed out.

    Game is good

MXGP Pro continues to improve upon Milestone's MXGP formula, but for the fourth entry in the series it still has plenty of issues. The physics are still not quite there although the rider movement is much better than past entries in the series, and the career mode is still hollow. The online service is, as per usual with Milestone, terrible. The online service is, as per usual with Milestone, terrible. The AI difficulty is the best in the series so far, but it's still not really a challenge to win races by 10+ seconds. This game will entertain fans of the sport for a few months, but it doesn't have much re-playability past that. Expand

MXGP Pro is not bad. I really think a player that enjoys racing simulators might find something to enjoy with it. If I could get past its extreme learning curve for first time players, I bet I could have a lot of fun with it. It's hard to have fun with a game when you can't even beat the first track on any single player mode when all the other racers leave you in the dust (or dirt and mud) however.

This is Milestone's best MXGP title to date, improving the graphics, improving the physics, the handling, and the realism, all whilst keeping the title accessible to players of all levels.

Overall, there are aspects of this game that I thoroughly enjoy. I enjoyed learning how to play the game decently and can see how it tailors to racing gamers like me, and the die hard motocross fan who knows what they are doing, and how to adjust their bike settings. I'm not the best at racing games, and I'm no expert in Motocross by a long shot, however, in playing MXGP Pro, I can at least say that it gave me some insight on the mechanics of a motocross bike and how the bikes operate. As for my recommendation, I would recommend this game solely on the gameplay being as decent as it is.
