Hop onto your bike and let the adrenaline rise with this new gaming experience. Take control and discover what's new in this official branded series. MXGP 2020, developed and published by my favorite Milestone, is the official video game of the Pro Motocross Championship. Milestone has been crafting Motocross games since 2014's MXGP installment, a game which spawned a number of yearly sequels and successors leading up to this year's installment. While the series' focus on mud and motorbikes has remained consistent, MXGP 2020 introduces a number of new mechanics and enhancements to create an authentic Motocross experience. Unfortunately, this focus on believable motorbiking hinders the game's accessibility and variety. The controls and the actual mechanics are unchanged, offering the same flexibility as in years past, allowing for both arcade-style and more realistic simulation. This time around you’re able to quite literally feel the track as you come around corners and has never been more authentic than todays experience. This helps create Milestone’s most immersive experience to date, and is far and away the best game. I found it a bit annoying that the game didn’t want to remember my custom rider twice in a row after closing out the game and bringing it back up. It’s something that I imagine will be fixed, but it is sort of inexcusable at the same time. The amount of gear to choose from also isn’t bad, but again, you’re not going to be blown away by the options here. There’s a good selection of bikes and parts. Everything company from Husqvarna to Yamaha and even some smaller brands are also represented here, so credit where it’s due and why the franchise has been largely accepted is because of it branding. The track editor doesn’t go as far as many track editors in other racing games, have gone but it is enough to serve as a worthy diversion and does add to the depth of the game enough to be mentioned. If you are a fan of the Milestone games like I am definitely give this one a go on your Xbox as you won’t regret it.… Expand
