Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 3 adds a few new features this time around, though none make it feel like a drastically different game from the previous year(s). While it may just feel like another lap around the track, it is a slightly smoother go this time around.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 3 can be really grindy if you don’t want to pay the extra money and I, for one, really don’t want to. It takes persistent racing to upgrade the bike to hit those precious podiums but excellent physics and responsive handling keep the gameplay constantly rewarding. The game has a nice discipline to it, an important virtue I’d like to see in more videogames. It doesn’t needlessly ramble all over the place but keeps its focus firmly on the supercross. Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 3 is good at what it does. Simple wisdom behind any good game.

Monster Energy Supercross 3 is yet another great Supercross racing experience by Milestone. It’s a shame that the developer has trimmed content from the career mode rather than add to it or give it more meaning, but improvements elsewhere make an impact. Thanks to improved physics, the usual graphical tweaks and the introduction of dedicated servers, Monster Energy Supercross 3 is the best entry in the series to date.

If you’ve never played a Monster Energy Supercross title, go ahead and get this. It’s every bit as good as previous versions. But if you’ve played either of the previous entries in the Monster Energy Supercross series, you’re probably best off waiting for a sale or skip this as there just isn’t enough to warrant a full price purchase.

I wasn’t expecting much with Monster Energy Supercross 3 on the Xbox One but came out the other end pleasantly surprised. Other sports simulations suffer from annual releases, rushed out on smaller budgets and littered with bugs but this is a very competent game.

Deceptively technical and tricky to master, Monster Energy Supercross 3 is a modest but solid two-wheeled racer.

Monster Energy Supercross 3 is a Realism-Driven Motocross Racing Game Licensed by Monster Energy. One of the best moto-racing mechanics I everMonster Energy Supercross 3 is a Realism-Driven Motocross Racing Game Licensed by Monster Energy. One of the best moto-racing mechanics I ever experienced lies here. Supercross 3 represents the US-based world championship, a mecca for all things indoor dirtbike racing. Character customization is a bit lacking, but your Jersey is incredibly customizable, even the lettering can be changed to your liking. The training mode is incredibly useful, and I recomend you play around in there for a while until you get the feel of the physics, and how much aerodynamics make a difference in your control. You aren't going to come in here and do pull backflips like there's no gravity. From there you face the games campaign and pit off against the Monster Energy Motocross world! With a banging Rock/Punk soundtrack, you may not need a monster to keep the energy levels up! Monster Energy Supercross 3 doesn't really bring anything new to the table but what it does bring is superbly executed. The feeling that's delivered is more than I expected as I could feel the drag of the mud, and the pull of gravity as I launched from the ramps was impressive. Fans of Motocross, Monster has brought you a game to add to your library! Full Review »

Too many mud races, should be a way to turn this off. Did a championship and 6 of 17 were mud races which is way too many in my opinion. IToo many mud races, should be a way to turn this off. Did a championship and 6 of 17 were mud races which is way too many in my opinion. I hate that I cannot choose the #37. It is locked and that really sucks. Also, when in championship (not career) you cannot exit, you have to play out the entire championship before you can exit and select something else. Otherwise the game is great. I would rank it a 10 if it weren't for the 2 issues I mentioned. Full Review »

MXSX3 needs to fix the issue when it comes to coming into contact with track-side bails! It is ridiculous! The physics are broken when hittingMXSX3 needs to fix the issue when it comes to coming into contact with track-side bails! It is ridiculous! The physics are broken when hitting objects around the track (your character is subjected to a, horrific crash and sequence which makes no sense, WHATSOEVER!)....Is this intentional by the game developers OR is it the unreal physics engine? This is a SERIOUS problem with gameplay mechanics. I have played this game around 10-15 hours now. I am working through the campaign mode (Could be much better, btw). Since my initial gameplay experience, I am adapting and at times I am enjoying the gameplay. However, the aforementioned issue is NOT acceptable. FIX IT! Full Review »
