    i am a huge fan of telltale games but to be honest i found this game disapointing i dont really like the characters and the story is kinda boring. The gameplay is like any other telltale game but i dont feel like your decisions really change the plot it definitely isnt a bad game but i think its very disapointing

    I like the game, people give it a 0 or 1 or 2 because they think it's minecraft with a story, but it's a telltale masterpiece. Too bad al those kids doesn't see it because they're kids and have never play a telltale game before!

    Guy's Telltale is a movie driven game you play the story you do not make the story! you press buttons to get further in the game. That's telltale! i give    I like the game, people give it a 0 or 1 or 2 because they think it's minecraft with a story, but it's a telltale masterpiece. Too bad al those kids doesn't see it because they're kids and have never play a telltale game before!

    Overall, the game is too kid friendly and it dosen't want to take any risks what so ever. Everything from humor, to story, to even the main characters are extremely one dimensional and cringe worthy to watch. I was willing to give this game a try as Patton Oswald voices the male protagonist, and he is generally a very funny stand up comic and for that reason i was expecting humor aroundOverall, the game is too kid friendly and it dosen't want to take any risks what so ever. I was willing to give this game a try as Patton Oswald voices the male protagonist, and he is generally a very funny stand up comic and for that reason i was expecting humor around the level that tales from the borderlands is at, however the "jokes" that are cracked just come off as bad and not in the sense that its so bad its funny either. Its sad to the point where the game thinks the best joke is "would you fight 100 zombie sized chickens or 10 chicken sized zombies".......and if that poor attempt at humor was enough the first time, they pull the joke twice!

    Now when i think of a minecraft story done right, i think of elementanimation, with there eggs guide to minecraft videos, which is creative in the way that it portrays its characters convincingly in a story that blends comedy and the occasional serious moment together to make it interesting to watch in the first place.     I like the edge and the direction of the game. The humor edges closer to teenage language instead of younger. They have come out with a solid first entry. this gives a nice background story and allows for even more expanse.

    How do you mess up minecraft the worse way possible? Yea a game with a STORY! The main purpose of minecraft or story is that your create and build what you want when you want but to get the fanboys, money, and fame they made this game. Telltale Games make mediocre games but this one is horrible! The story is trash gameplay is trash the controls trash. Bleh trash!

    I expected something different. It's definitely too aimed at younger gamers but overall I enjoyed some parts. If I was a couple of years younger I would love it.

    Even The Last Of Us did not have this level of substance

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the definition of telltale. Awful game, then add some dlc. Telltale are EA, but worse. The plot is awful, the characters are generic, and the best character dies in the 4th episode.

    Pretty tepid start for this series. Nothing great, nothing bad. That there isn't anything great isn't a good thing in this case. Would make a great rental, that is about it.

    The Long Dark, so far, is an amazing survival game. Survival games have been all about zombies or similar creatures, never the pure realistic struggle against nature. That's where The Long Dark comes in. It's not a friendly game despite it's soft art style, you will starve to death, freeze to death or die to exhaustion (not to mention wolves). It uses this kind of cell shading graphics yet

    A fantastic start of the series with lively characters and great interaction gameplay. The direction is so, so professional. It's a great game for Minecraft fans.

    Overall, the first episode of this family-friendly adventure is engaging enough to keep you playing through its brief 90-minute run time. The cliffhanger is also a doozy that nicely sets up the next episode.
