    WOW This game is a real gem! If you like the fighting engine in games like Sleeping Dogs or the Arkham series, then you will love this game. It's like Oldboy meets John Wick. It's also 20 dollars and well worth it. Not a perfect game, but I can honestly say it's the best one I've played this year, which has been the worst year in gaming history imo.     I think there is really great potential here and I love & appreciate the work the creator has put into it. The combat mechanics are (intentionally) very limited at the start, but once you start unlocking new skills and whatnot it really opens up and becomes quite deep. It features great music, a nice art style, and overall just a commendable amount of polish.

    This game had all the potential to be an 8+ for me -- easily. I feel like this is the game I would create if I had a lick of talent and I seriously enjoy everything it offers. Unfortunately, same game-breaking bug multiple times now. And am now going on 4 days or so where I straight-up cannot play the game.    … Expand

    Fun beat'em up the controls and the combat flow work very well, some minor complaints about the hit boxes and mechanics at time. The story is pretty backround and convuleted, different enemie types are fun but that noticably different. Thank you Gamepass, beat in around 7 hours.

    I appreciate overall atmosphere and setting of game. Perfect mix between a classic beat'em up and modern solutions. I love the work, the author put into this game, the animations and art style are superb. Music is top class. Big variety of enemies makes sure that the gameplay doesn't get boring. Personally, i think the amount of guns and armed enemies was too much.

    L’étron indé du jour -et notamment du dimanche- est un gros étron de jeu idiot et bourrin -et bien con- qui con-siste à bourriner en vue du dessus et notamment à taper sur des cons. Autant dire qu’on (con ?) se lasse vite de ce jeu de cons parce que c’est vraiment répétitif et vraiment très con comme jeu.

    Fatigant à jouer (allez, bourrine comme un con et dézingue treize mille ennemis    L’étron indé du jour -et notamment du dimanche- est un gros étron de jeu idiot et bourrin -et bien con- qui con-siste à bourriner en vue du dessus et notamment à taper sur des cons. Autant dire qu’on (con ?) se lasse vite de ce jeu de cons parce que c’est vraiment répétitif et vraiment très con comme jeu.

    Fatigant à jouer (allez, bourrine comme un con et dézingue treize mille ennemis -environ- !) pour le joueur mais aussi pour la manette. Et si la baston a laissé augurer -fugacement hélas- un système à la Batmou, il n’en est rien en fait. Les contres par exemple sont difficiles à placer et se font toujours en deux temps alors qu’il suffit d’une seule touche dans les Batmous.

    Si la difficulté est paramétrable, l’ennui s’installe rapidement et persiste pr la suite… C’est en effet globalement bien trop mal fait et l’absence totale de justification et/ou de scénario (je parle même pas d’histoire…) ne donne aucune raison de continuer ce jeu à la con. Enfin, c’est graphiquement très limité (c’est le moins qu’on puisse dire !).    … Expand

    I should point out that you need to read a lot of articles. I wish it was dubbed. I don't like to read stories in action games. Other than that, some difficult boss fights are quite broken. You have to be perfectionist to beat them. Other than those, this was a nice experience. Great fighting and weapon mechanics.

    Short, simple, sweet. This game is a big change up from what most games try to be, fun. Combat is quick and the animations compliment the flow. Weapons are numerous and feel as if they can differentiate from one another. There are a few missions that somewhat break the flow of the game and I disliked but they're far enough from each other you tend to not mind. One of my most favoriteShort, simple, sweet.     Such a pleasant surprise!
    I had the chance to try it via the game pass and I absolutely love it.
    Much replay value, superb music, effective gameplay, excellent progress curve.
    Kudos to the developers who made a fantastic job here.

    Midnight Fight Express ist ein großartiges Indiespiel, das zwar sehr Kurz ist aber auch sehr gut. Das Kämpfen geht sehr gut von der Hand, es gibt eine Vielfalt Martial-Arts-Moves und man kann die Umgebung nutzen, um die Gegner auszuschalten. Die Animationen sind sehr gelungen, die Level abwechslungsreich uns sehr gut gestaltet. Es gibt zahlreiche Waffen, die sich allerdings in den unterschiedlichsten Kategorien nicht groß unterscheiden. Neben den Kämpfen gibt es ein paar Missionen wie Jetski und Motorrad Fahren, die mir nicht so gut gefielen, da sie meiner Meinung nach dem Spielfluss etwas zu sehr Bremsen. Ansonsten gibt es für mich nichts Negatives an dem Spiel 08/10

    This game is very interesting, combat system is awesome! the plot is mid but it doesn't stop you from enjoying the game. This game is a mustplay. Espessialy because it's on gamepass. One of the best games I've ever played

    I’ve found myself really enjoying Midnight Fight Express. While initially limited, the combat opens up as you unlock new moves and combos. Being able to replay missions is great, and the customisation in both moves and appearance really sat well with me. I’d have liked to have voice acting in the game, but other than that this comes recommended.

    Midnight Fight Express captures the action synonymous with films like The Raid. Combat feels great and includes enough depth to pull off technical combos but is also simple and accessible for newcomers to the genre. The story is a miss-fire and lacks the cinematic flair which is within the gameplay. Whilst the aesthetics are basic, it does feel like a fight through a seedy underworld. The addictive gameplay loop makes you want to replay levels to achieve the highest score. Ultimately, Midnight Fight Express achieves what it set out to do: make you feel like an absolute badass.
