The heroine is an actual wall that provides support to the main characters by merging with walls or acting as a wind breaker if needed. Turn-based battles can be engaged with 3x3 grid battles by using skills with different effects or by summoning golems to take down your foes. Alchemize items, learn passive skills and enjoy the tons of quests and extra enjoyment that await in this magical adventure!

    As a huge fan of mid-'90s RPGs, I must admit that Miden Tower does a phenomenal job of recreating the magic of that era by offering a creative and immersive game world as well as satisfying combat and character progression that's surprisingly clever.

    The story, the characters, and the relationships that grow between those you meet will make you want to continue playing Miden Tower on Xbox One. If you don't like retro styled JRPGs it’s unlikely to sway you, but for everyone else, this is a game that needs to be played. In fact, it’s the best KEMCO game of recent months and you really should give it a try.

    Maiden Tower is a 16bit top down JRPG from KEMCO. After whitnessing the Imperial Guards slaughter his entire village, Valen (who you can nameMaiden Tower is a 16bit top down JRPG from KEMCO. After whitnessing the Imperial Guards slaughter his entire village, Valen (who you can name how ever you'd like) dedicates his life to killing every Imperial Guard. His dark endeavour sets him onto a bigger quest where he meets a host of colorful characters. The first companion he meets is a Magika (a magical Golem) that Valen names Leila (Again you can name her as you'd like) with her own neat mechanics. Like Most RPGs released by KEMCO Maiden Tower is loaded with mechanics that make the game extremely layered and fun to test different things. One of my favorites is the Alchemy Pot (which Leila renames a Magical Cauldron) allowing you to transmutate item you no longer need into (hopefully) more useful items. You can configure so much about your strategy, like tram formation or Leilas bricks. I could go on for quites some time about the intricate combat system. The games lower difficulties can feel u rewarding to RPG veterans, but the higher levels make you utilize some serious strategy. The explorable areas are large, and filled with secrets and loot. KEMCO always delivers a genuine nostalgic RPG experience that's loaded with fun things to do and tons or side quests, and Maiden Tower is no exception. RPG fans shouldn't pass this one up!… Expand

    This is quite possibly the most heavily padded game I have ever played. It is entertaining in it's own odd little way. With it's stop and wait mechanics, xp boosters for sale for real money, and premium currencies though, I cannot in good faith say it is worth the $15 that I paid for it. If you want a truly idle game though, this is it. I am currently playing as I type this. . When I say that I am playing, I mean the game is playing itself...… Expand
