It is a very good game for sure... is it worth $20... maybe not !!! But i spend that much to go to the movies.
And many times i go home feeling like i did not get my monies worth...
Please let's give a true review.... if you do not like a game or some parts... just say so !!!
But give a game a zero... because you said it's 20 minutes is wrong!!

I guarantee that nobody did it in 20 minutes here their first play through!!!

The main mission goes by quickly, but with a surprising amount of unlockable content scattered across it and it's six side-missions (the missions that were originally console exclusive are now available for both systems) there are enough hours of gameplay here to keep you coming back.

It's an all around excellent slice of stealth gameplay. Some fickle mechanics get in the way from time to time, but for the most part all of the systems work well together. It's a game that rewards intelligence as well as freedom as to how you approach situations. The game also isn't afraid to shy away from action. Combat is smooth, but is still meant to be used as a last resort. Getting through levels with no kills and rarely being spotted is still the focus. Going in guns blazing will reduce your score/ranking at the end of the level. Still, it's nice to not feel helpless.

The side-ops add a nice bit of diversity to the experience. They give you new objectives to complete and rely on different styles. They'll keep you coming back after you beat the main mission, however they are ultimately just as brief. That's the real issue with this package. Completing the main objectives for the missions is going to take you almost no time at all. It's a controversial issue for many, however those people have yet to dive fully into all the content that is actually offered here. Doing everything to 100% the game will take you longer than you would expect. The amount of time you spend with the game all depends on just how much of it you want to see.

Luckily there are plenty of reasons to want to see all it has to offer thanks to the excellent core gameplay. Stealth has rarely felt tighter. It's a tense game that can be quite difficult at times. With content this entertaining it does a great job of doing what it sets out to do; giving us a glimpse into what awaits us in the real MGS V, as well as being a fantastic game on it's own.

If you're the type of player that puts the controller down and walks away after the main quest then don't waste your time as you will be disappointed. But if you long to clear every side mission, collect every collectible, and get the most out of your games this purchase is a no-brainer. I've already pulled 6 hours of playtime without touching one side mission or playing on hard. With at least 12 hours of gameplay it is easily worth $30 and not to mention the best looking game on the system. Expand

However going for achievements or trophy's does add some extra fun and trying to do better each time is fun too. The one side op that I wasn't fond of involved destroying anti aircraft guns. All in all if you're a fan of the series I'd say buy it, if not, wait till a price drop/right before pp as I do feel like it is integral to the story. Expand

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a short but challenging game, offering many hours of replayability. Ground Zeroes represents a new, more sophisticated era of Metal Gear playing much better than its predecessors, with stunning graphics. Delivering an incredible promise for its big brother in The Phantom Pain. For its price it’s a must buy for any new or existing Metal Gear fans.

For cheap price tag, there is actually A LOT more content than you think, For example if you collect all the audio tapes then there is A LOT of back-story between the events of Peace Walker and Ground Zeroes, There are 5 extra side missions which are fun and challenging, plus the trails such as completing it quickest time with no alerts and kills!

If you're one of those type of gamers who enjoy speed-running, beating scores and experimenting with different playing methods then I can recommend it. If you're a HUGE fan of Metal Gear Solid then I highly recommend that you add it to your collection since it does include some important story assets which I will not spoil for this review.

The gameplay is fantastic, streamlining the controls of past Metal Gear Solid games extremely well, and stealth is a blast, with intelligent, alert enemy AI and tons of ways to complete your objectives, with many collectibles to find and POWs to rescue. The graphics on PS4 are astounding. It is not hyperbole when I say it is the best looking game I have ever seen. The story is minimal, serving as a bridge between 2010's Peace Walker and the upcoming Phantom Pain, but what it does show has me extremely interested. The impact of what happens is huge, and the new villain leaves a MASSIVE impression. I eagerly await how the events will be followed upon. However, there are some criticisms I have, and the length is a big one. The game is indeed short, and while highly replayable and with 5 other side missions to occupy your time, by 6 hours you will have seen almost all the game has to offer unless you take your time, and unlocking the final side mission requires collecting XOF patches, which artificially increases your time played. Unless you are a big Metal Gear fan, I would not advise buying it at retail price, or for next gen unless you really want to see it look and play it's best. The PS3 and 360 versions may not look as good, but they function pretty much the same. Overall, the game is very enjoyable, and a tantalizing first taste of what to expect in The Phantom Pain, but if you are not a big fan, wait for a price drop. Expand

Firstly, if you bought this and didn't realise it was a short prologue then I have no sympathy for you. If you love MG then the money is worth it. Visuals were great, textures were gorgeous in most parts - the odd 'draw distance' pop up bush but otherwise very good.
Game play is dynamic and intuitive, the audio is also top notch.
The replayability is good at 6ish hours if you want to

I had a lot of fun while playing it! That being said DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. The main stuff took about an hour, the added stuff took about another hour and there isn't much reason to go back to play unless you want to get a higher rank on the leader boards. Also if you're looking for story there barely is any. The game play is really good but DO NOT BUY IT. Borrow it, rent it, or wait for it to be on sale for $7 or less but DO NOT BUY IT. A direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, it continues the story of Big Boss and his cronies that will eventually form Outer Haven. Unfortunately, voice actor David Hayter was been replaced with Kiefer Sutherland. The result is that Big Boss now sounds a lot like Jack Bauer. In terms of gameplay, Ground Zeroes seems inspired by Splinter Cell. It features an open-world level set on a small U.S. military base in Cuba. The setting is the early 70's and Big Boss must rescue his friends by infiltrating the compound. Once you finish the story mission, side missions are unlocked. The graphics are impressive, although the stealth mechanics aren't as smooth as you'd hope. But MGS fans will still love every minute of it. Although the story mission is short, the replayability is high. Overall, I would rate this with an 8 out of 10. Expand

When Metal gear solid ground zeroes reached games with gold, i had honestly no idea what to think about it, with cynicism already engraved into my mind due to the opinions of others. I figured that i would discover what the big fuss was about considering the main game is being released in September and the fact i can do what ever the hell i feel like. To begin with the game is great, "but then why are you giving a 6, Mr. McGillotine" "well let me explain Billy before people hop on me like white on rice, for not making any sense". The game is great and i will say that proudly, however it isn't worth much money and sets a terrible standard for the future of video game titles, because it is short, very much short and that is probably the worst factor of this game acting as an Achilles heel against the gem that the game truly is. for a game-play perspective, things look beautiful and runs wonderful which cant be said about most other games at the moment, the A.I is well directed and player freedom is exciting. the story is short, however manages to collectively create an effective beginning, middle and end ground creating an exciting narrative and context for a game that i can now say am anticipated for the phantom pain.
