Let's start with this game's art style, on the map, the characters, and in combat. Everything is drawn 2D style art, with a dark, steampunk feels to it. With lots of Plague masks and cybernetic looking creatures, the games aesthetic definitely represents the conflict fueled world being depicted here. The map and motion in combat are very Chibi, and cartoony feeling, almost stark in contrast to everything else. The characters are portrayed with epic art, and the moving art during a fight is awesome. You play each fight navigating a grid, collecting points of interest for supplies and units, and devising your attacks. When you get into a fight it's displayed like a side to side fighting game almost with each unit being shown facing the other, and a life bar at the top. The number of units on the screen representing the number of troops. The Mechanics of each unit is something to be learned, as the units are all unique and alien in design to most anything we've experienced in a game like this. It will take a bit of trial and error to figure out what defeats what best. Fans of Tactical Strategy games should have a blast with this title. Veterans of the genre won't find much new, but the game is worth a look! Expand
